Persians are best mixed with Kings of Judah. Otherwise, Persian Presidents + Raider's Camp + an offense that allows for characters to be set-aside constantly (Job, Angels) might be an interesting deck.

How can you have a Persian defense without Prince of Persia? C'mon Clift... ;)

Green has always been good with Brown with cards like the one that ignores brown and provisions with plague of frogs to shuffle your own guys back in.
