If people want to cheat, feel free. They just sinned, and lost self respect. Nothing off my back. People can cheat in normal games as well. It is easy to draw 2 cards and make it look like 1. It is all a trust based system.
I generally take RR's perspective when it comes to cheating.  Sure there are probably people who have the card shuffling abilities to stack their deck when I play against them, but I assume that when people are shuffling that they really are.

However, I also think that setting up a system that makes it more difficult to cheat is helpful at least in the sense that it makes it easier for people to be honest.  That removes some of the temptation for people, and that's a good thing for everyone.  If no such system can be devised, then simply choose to trust people.  But if you can possibly make a system that makes cheating harder, then it's worth the time.

One thing I will probably do is have every player who wants to participate email me the deck list of the random deck they want to use. I will make sure that decks seem to be "random enough" (i.e. a deck with 10 purple heroes and 8 purple enhancements is very unlikely, and would be questioned). Then if someone feels that their opponent got a bit too lucky, I can check to see if the cards they complain about are part of the deck.

That's about the only control on cheating I'll probably implement for now.

By the way Cameron, nice job on the spreadsheet. I looked around for a bit for a function that did what vlookup does, but I never stumbled across it. Anyway, it looks great.

But, you DO have 4 sites (among the best in the game, I might add).  Although access won't be hard, it may slow them enough for you to get an offense together.  That being said, I'm not sure you can put together more than 2 or 3 souls.  Hopefully an opponent has conversion?  :)

What are you talking about? He can spam Enoch, and kill the largest character with Purity Name on Name bonus.

Awesome!  I got the file Cameron.  Is there a way to play with everyone yet?  Let me know how I can play?  Should I post just my first deck or do I want to build more?  Interesting idea and I can't wait to see what I get!

We are still waiting on Professor to get it set up first!  As soon as he does, it will be announced.  But you might be able to play some people if you want to, it just won't be part of the future tournament until Prof. gets it set up.

A question about lost souls: are we using 7 non-SA, 7 that we select, or 7 generated randomly?

7x no SA, unless you draw a soul. You then generate an extra number, and can use the generated SA soul in your deck.

This is correct. It works just like Booster Draft. If you "draft" souls you can use them, then add enough more to make 7 total.
