I am getting bored with my same old combination of offenses and wanted to try something new. I am thinking of prophets, but I have no clue how to play the little green buggers. Any one care to share some prophetic advice? I have Hidden treasures, 2 bears etc., but what should I do to make them really stand up and be counted?

Depending on your style, a late game HT - sowing the seed with a heavy defense is always nice.

I am sure you will get a lot of advice since prophets is probably the most common offense used in T2. :)
Just off the top of my head:
Joel
Nahum
Micah
Jeremiah (TexP)
Habakkuk
Nathan
Miriam
Two Bears
Plague of Frogs
Provisions
Search
David's Music
Blessings for Obedience
Oh, and even though it's been neutered, it's still one mean ol' junkyard dog: A New Beginning. ;)

so with it being neutered, is ANB really only good for resetting the field? I have always wanted to use it, but have never needed to reset the field, does it have other uses? I have never seen David's Music before it is nice!

Don't underestimate the significance of resetting the field. Many times, an opponent can get the appropriate cards in their territory before you've had time to get the counters. That in itself is a saving strategy at times. Also, don't forget you get to draw 8, then draw 3, and then start a new rescue attempt on top of the reset.

D Music is awesome, idk why people don't use it.

I had D Music and Blessings for Obed. in my Nats T2 decks. Unfortunately, there weren't many demon defenses that I came up against and I didn't use nay demons myself. But BfO won me a few souls. :)
