Title: Now I want to know what is a site lock deck?
Post by: Glassees on May 15, 2010, 02:07:29 PM
A site lock deck uses sites and such to lock those lost souls in, but what kind of cards would I use and what would be the color for the job?

That gives me the color but what about the type of cards, would I use manly cards like Land Purchase and the such?

Brown has some Site stuff like:
Taking Nab's Vineyard
and the fore mentioned Land Purchase

Black has some Philly stuff like :
Land Dispute

Lost Souls:
Site Doubler
Site Guard
(Site) Hand Discard
(Site) Deck Discard
(Site)Color Guard

Eh, depends. If everything goes your way they can be, but if you get unlucky with the timing on Revealer/TAS/Hopper or face WatW, you're dead.

Agreed, unless you run TWO burials like someone.

I would recommend adding Jerusalem Tower to a sitelock deck. It stops Woman at the Well and Harvest Time as well as having several other issues. I know the revealer LS still can reveal cards, but where do revealed lost souls go?

It actually stops neither. J-Tower is a Prevent, and neither WatW nor HT can be Prevented.

Black gets the job done well. Joseph in Prison, Land Dispute, Danites Attack are all great lockout cards.

Black:
Joseph in Prison, Land Dispute, Danites Attack are all great lockout cards.

Brown: Taking Naboth's Vineyard (essentially a Danites Attack), Korah's Rebellion (essentially a Joseph in Prison), Graven (essentially a character version of Land Dispute as far as site-decks are concerned). Brown also has it does have Idolatry (hahaha), Land Purchase, Threatened Lives.
