well, I'm planning on putting together an FBTN, but what should my other deck be? I was hoping to use a combo, but not something that the whole deck is based off of it. I've considered the King Lemuel + Gathering + ET, or maybe mess around with placers like Eliashana. also, I don't have any clue what I'd do for the defense... give me an idea, please?

Deck Discard is always fun. Silver/Red with a Gold defense.
-
i like a little green too because of wickedness removed and a new beginning (to get more cards back in their deck to possibly discard). but now green has two rfg cards. :(
-
The Destroyer to ET using gathering. Then play A-bom. Have a huge defense. VERY fun deck to play and is actually quite competitive.
-
um, how do you keep getting the destroyer back.
-
why would you need to??? I mean, Chamber of Angels is in the deck but this is a one shot deal. Use I am Holy with angels + chamber to make them play all their EC's, then go in end game to wipe out their protect fort and EC's on the table. If your defense holds and you play it right you win.

rfg?
I like the idea, thanks pol. I love playing an egyptian defense... I shall build it tomorrow!

remove from game.
redemptioncousin, i thought you meant just using the destroyers ability to discard 1 ec, in which case you have to do it over and over. i also thought that you meant abomination of desolation when you said 'a-bom', not authority of christ promo (a-bomB). in that case, it makes sense. unless they use 2 culture protection fortresses, in which case jeremiah banded would probably be better.

Beyond that, AoCP is AoCP, never any variation of A-Bom(b).
My preferred use of The Destroyer is with Covenant of Eden up.

hmm... I could use that with Book of the Covenant and David's Harp... interesting.
