				No, it is like if they play CM you can put it under your deck to bring your hero back to your territory instead of being discarded.

				Heal abilities work on any character (of the proper alignment) who has been discarded at any point during that turn. Some cards, like Torment, only target one character. Others, like Brass Serpent or The New Covenant, can heal all heroes that were discarded that turn.

 That's actually wrong, as far as I know. If you're searching deck for an artifact, you can pull a Covenant or a Curse. I'm about 80% sure about this.

 I think the ruling goes along these lines:  If you are searching for a covenant, you can get it only if you are searching for a covenant.  If you are playing a covenant, then it can be a covenant, enhancement, or artifact.  That's why you can use Go Into Captivity for Zimri's cost but you can't recur it with Imitating Evil, for example.

 To answer everyone, I'd love to quote the REG...but it is down.  The REG states that Covenants can be targeted as either enhancements or Covenants until they are played (that is, in hand or deck or discard).  Once they hit the table, they take on their identifier based on where they are played (that is, only when you put it in your artifact pile is it an artifact, and it is only an enhancement if played as one).
 
 ...course I can't get you the rule for that until the REG is back up -_______-
