I'm still looking into this, but is it possible to force an opponent to draw a bunch of cards, causing him to have to discard what he normally wouldn't and deck-out really early?
-
Love at First Site, Generous Widow, etc. Combine it with a Greek Defense (Abomination of Desolation).
-
don't forget rain becomes dust, ctbing sabbeth breaker, tormenting sab break, ctb again...
-
and then at the tournament they're all speed players and they just sit back and chuckle :)
-
Do you have any idea what either Abomination of Desolation or Rain Becomes Dust do?
-
yes ::) I'm not stupid but whats Covenant of Noah and DoN for ;D
-
Sure, go ahead and waste DoN on Rain Becomes Dust. ::) You but dream, Caleb.
-
fine Lying unto God
-
Only in someone's dreams could something like that be prevented with LuG.

Nothing against Abomination of Desolation.... ::)

:miss:
-
Covenant of Noah can negate Abomination of Desolation one time, but it does not get rid of the card and the Abomination will continue to function the next turn and on.

Oh, also a real mean thing to do is RBD up, NO WOP and a really easy to band to person with swift/egyptian/Namaans horses. you HAVE to draw with them
-
RBD?
-
RBD = Rain Becomes Dust (the curse that discards drawn cards).

Kirk
yeah but Covenant of Noah discards it

If my assumptions is correct, you could use RBD and Hur to get rid of all but one card in their hand and make them discard 7 cards ;)
-
Rain Becomes Dust
Type: Curse • Brigade: Grey • Ability: 1 / 5 • Special Ability: All cards that an opponent draws because of a special ability used by that opponent are revealed instead. Place all revealed Lost Souls in opponent’s territory. Discard the rest.

I forgot about that opponent part :P.
However, say they use Hur with Gifts Of The Magi (without realizing/forgetting that I have RBD active) would that slaughter their deck then?

Yes. Will it ever happen? Probably not.

Agreed. The best way I've seen anyone play RBD is to activate it on your turn after your opponent has set aside his heroes with Feast of Trumpets.
-
Are there any evil charachters or enhancements that make your opponent draw cards?
-
what does I am Grace do again? would it protect your hand from being shuffled?
Place Love at First Sight on a white hero with, idk, Agur. Rabby + 2k horses, disuading speech, make them use Love at first sight. but that's really complicated. disuading speech can be used for Generous Widow too, or others that force people to draw things.
-
CTB seems like the best way (besides the obvious ones like Gen Widow, Hur, etc.)

thats I am mercy and that stops your hand/deck from being d/c'd by evil cards.
I am grace=Discard one good card from hand to d/c 1 wc enh in play. When this card was made, it was near useless, Now...Not so much.
-
yeah but Covenant of Noah discards it
Since when? It simply negates the enhancement.
"Use as an enhancement or an Artifact. Interrupt and prevent one evil enhancement. Discard after use."

Hey,
Sure, go ahead and waste DoN on Rain Becomes Dust. ::) You but dream, Caleb.
Against a deck as dependent on Rain Becomes Dust as this deck would be it wouldn't be a waste. I would use Destruction on Rain Becomes Dust in a heartbeat against this deck.
