Anna
Seraph
Simeon
Hosea
Micah
Nathan
Daniel
Hidden Treasures
Obadiah’s Caves
Plague of Frogs
Two Bears
Swords into Plowshares
Search
Provisions
Spiritual Warfare

Very Basic Prophets Offense that can pack a powerful punch. Not very fast but it is on a larger scale so it gets out pretty fast.

This prophets offense seems way too big. Enhancements and characters should be, together, no more than maybe 18 cards.

Yeah that's not a cookie-cutter offense at all. It's not even a cohesive offense. It's got elements of side-battle prophets, Isaiah (distinct from Prophets in general), and Ezekiel (again distinct).
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

how is ezekiel a 'distinct' offense?

He sits in territory and cries cause he can't do anything but hold Pan.

But notice I haven't seen a prophets offense this year that doesn't contain Isaiah, so I would say that Isaiah is very prominent for a basic  prophets offense. I also don't understand how this is not Cookie Cutterish. It contains most of the cards a Prophets offense will have but as Unforgivable stated it was a little big so I trimmed out some cards others would have in a Prophets offense. I'm not saying this is the best offense I'm just saying this is a basic prophets offense for others to work off of.

the reason isaiah isnt part of 'cookie cutter prophets' is because he commands a deck archetype all by himself. you cant just splash hm into any generic prophets deck as you suggest and expect to do above-par with him...you need the angels, you need the enhancements, and you need the kings. thats too much support required to put in with a regular prophets offense.

you also cant say you havent seen a prophets deck without isaiah this year, because well, this year has barely started.

Well I haven't. I haven't seen that many decks though either so doesn't matter anyways. Would you say Ezekiel is or is he like Isaiah?

thats why i asked that question before, im not seeing how ezekial makes an entire offense or archetype like isaiah does. he seems strictly like support and to hold iron pan, and if so, then he probably could be included in with a regular prophets offense. but i think there are more important prophets than him to go in a regular cookie-cutter prophets deck.

Plague was the only thing I was iffy on. Hosea seems like he should be pretty stapled. Prophets don't have a whole lot to do with heroes without having to devote a 5+ cards. He's probably one of the better prophets that can just be thrown into a deck.

i just dont like how hosea can be a dead card if no one is using ec's with banding abilities (ot human at that), especially in a meta that is oversaturated with splash defenses. thats whats mainly keeping me from making him a staple for all prophets offenses. daniel also seems like he would find more playtime than him as well.

i agree, at first i thought he was pretty lackluster. after reevaluating him though, i think hes pretty staple for his theme. prophets get a character that will completely smash through splash defenses (like centurions, john, etc.), which is actually really really really good in todays meta. plus the fact he goes above and beyond that by negating forts and nt enhancements, and can play white off ht? pretty legit for a prophets deck i think.

too situational, and can also be put into any deck. it really doesnt capitalize on the prophets theme one way or another.

plague is a counter to balaams disobedience thus it's stapled.

that would only be true if every single defense used balaams d. also, just because plague hard counters balaams d does not mean its a staple for a prophets offense.

Plague is hardly a staple. Since when is a non-interrupt, single target battle winner with no additional ability a staple?

Agreed but Prophets don't have a whole lot a ways around immunity in it self so I think it is a decent card for a Prophets offense.

Two Bears? Baptism of Jesus if NT? Banding for immune to single hero?

I don't use BoJ in this offense because with N.T. Prophets I have it would be hard to get initiative. Two bears is good and the only band is seraph and Simeon.

i agree plague of frogs should be considered staple, especially for someone just starting.
This is the way Lackey gave it to me. All hail the power of Lackey!
