My Philly Defense?

Well, I am not sure how this will work, so I am looking for some advice!

I think it is a good defense? .

I love zero card offenses. Anyways Simon can be ditched and so can philly priests. Ohilly defenses are supposed to be small. Torment you probs don't need because you recur your EC's anyways.

Recursion of Philly's can be done once if Naz is in play.  I'd add Fallen Warrior (K) and Overwhelmed by Phillies.

Imitating Evil is Crimson - did you mean Pride of Simon?  Pride of Simon would be a good addition as well.  And definitely keep Simon in there.

Simon is not needed. You have three enhancements that work on him right now. JIP, Foolish Advice and Imitating Evil oh and torment but seeing as your only battle winner removes from the game I'm guessing your not going to be using that on him.

Yes, pride of Simon. ( I do not have this actual defense right now, I am looking for a good defense, that is why I am off on that card.  :doh:   )

JiP is a great battlewinner to play on Simon...  Gets rid of TSA CBN-style.  Plus, merely having Simon sitting in your territory may cause your opponent to think twice about attacking with a NT hero.

Philistine Priests don't get enough credit.  They aren't as good of a block as Garrison or 12 Fingers most of the time but people don't expect them or prepare for them.  In the Philly defense I used to win T2 at Nats the Philistine Priests literally won me a game 7-6 by negating an artifact.  Not to mention if you're going all out Philistines that Temple of Dagon + Altar of Dagon can be excruciating for certain decks to face.
