Title: Best Small offense
Post by: Townsend on February 06, 2011, 07:06:36 PM
What is the best small offense (other than WS and Zebby) say 14-16 cards I dont know if there is any particular small offense that goes well with Sads.

Since I'm too busy to give you a deck list right now, how about you see this deck in action. It's mono-white weenies

Idk what these videos in the thread are, but I agree with JSB in that Job is the best small defense if you eliminate WS and Zeb.

Yes, exactly.

Which I determined by reading what he wrote.  I think they were quite useful, as they showed the deck in action, not just a list of cards.

split alter/walking on water trade for 26 cards incuding garrison, revealer, nebby, nazzy,cp was a bad trade for the first guy

Well, according to Three Lions Gaming it's far, it was done by their value. Besides I didn't do the trade, they just wanted it recorded. They both agreed that it was fair. If you just want to voice your opinion that's fine but it still won't change anything. Besides those cards can only be obtained by attending a Nationals tournament.

Or by buying them from me.  I would sell those cards for probably $5...total.  That guy is gonna rue the day he made that trade.  The revealer LS is worth more than the other 2 combined.

You cant go by 3 lions. you gotta go by playability.  Those 2nats promos are only going to be good in a red or green deck. (actually I have never played with either of them and I play ALOT of green)

The revealer will probably go in EVERY deck.  same with the Nazzy and also likely with the Ark.  Nebby is a very powerful card on its own as well.  Honeslty tell that gy to trade with me next time.  I will only skin him half as bad ;)

I wouldn't say playability is the factor that decides, but rareness and availability. I mean, SOG can go in every deck (unless you're Gabe Isbell), but yet that is only $0.25.

Otherwise, Crustpope is right. Although Ken's prices are decent for the most part, he highly over values some promos (mainly the state, regional, and national ones that aren't Haman, GoJ, AOCP, and POC), and a handful of other cards. Revealer+one mid tier card for the two promos would have been a pretty fair trade, imo. Just some advice you might want to consider for future trades.

TLG is a fairly reliable gauge of card value for everything except Tournament Promos. All Tournament Promos except GoJ, Haman, PoC, AoCP, and Captured Ark are very low in real market trade value.

Then why is Saph (k) and Goliath (ul) 5.00 a piece?

Because Ken hates the Phillies.

Last time I checked, but value was based on Supply & Demand.

Here is the supply, those were the only copies in all of the south eastern florida region. Now there is another playgroup 3 hours north of where we live.

Here is the demand - just about everyone else in the playgroup did not own one except that one guy.

Cards' secondary market value is only worth what someone is willing to pay.

If you don't understand the concept of supply & demand then all I can say is go back to school, it'll help you understand how it works.

I now for one thing that he ran out of Goliath and had to open tons of original packs to get one. About Ken hating Phillies you would have to ask him.
