Title: Babylonians?
Post by: Arrthoa on January 28, 2012, 10:03:31 AM
I am building a prophet deck and was wondering if Babylonians would be good on defense? It would be a 63 card deck with 10 EC and 7-8 EE.

I didn't work on it very long and I switched an evil character to a fortress and one enhancement for a artifact

Cards in deck: 19

Fortresses: 1
   Headquarters at Riblah

Artifacts: 1
   Magic Charms

Crimson Evil Characters: 7
   Ashpenaz
   Babylonian Forces
   Babylonian Soldiers
   King Belshazzar
   King Merodach-baladan
   Nebuchadnezzar
   Nebushasban

Multi-Color Evil Enhancements: 1
   Invoking Terror

Crimson Evil Enhancements: 7
   Belshazzar's Banquet
   Carried into Exile
   Dream
   Great Image
   Head of Gold
   Imitating Evil
   Swift Horses

What is charms for since there is no magician, unless you forgot Astrologers or Chaldeans

What kind of a prophet offense are you making? If Isaiah you want Assyrians, if Zeke babs.

Babylonians are almost certainly your best choice for defense then! :)

RTS doesn't count multi color evil cards. They were probably in there. Go Into Captivity is nice for Crimson too.

Ezekiel is really the only vehicle 63 cards may be acceptable in due to Nebuchadnezzar and Wheel Within a Wheel.

EC's:
-Nebuchadnezzar
-Nergalsharezzar
-Nubushashban
-Babylonian Forces (or Soldiers, whichever the 1/1 is)
-Astrologers
-Chaldeans
-The Amalekite's Slave
-Sapphira
-King Belshazzar

EE's:
-Swift Horses
-Belshazzar's Banquet
-Imitating Evil
-Head of Gold
-Great Image (make sure you have Visions and Sword of the Lord on offense)
-Invoking Terror
-Deceit of Sapphira
-Dream

Arifacts:
-Magic Charms
-Iron Pan

Fortresses:
-Headquarters at Riblah

I have found Midianite Attack useful in this defense.
