I have a 63 card deck and I am making a Straight Assyrian Defense for it? I have room for twenty cards, what do I put in it?
-
I've never had a straight defense like that...I mix babs and assyrians...I use ASA, Survivor, and King Tiglath Pilisar III and the enhancements I use are 2K horses, Death of Unrighteous (nice auto block), Sin in the Camp, and Captured by Assyria. I also use Assyria's Tribute for my artifact. Assyrian Camp wouldn't hurt either (that's the only card I don't have that i seriously want for my deck).

Well I'm not sure Camp will be in the deck cause its protect won't work if I have King Hez in play or Set-aside Cause I have a Isaiah prophet offense in the deck

ah true

Straight Assyrians isn't as good as Assyrians/Magicians. If I were you I would put in a few magicians to fill in the extra spaces.

20 cards is too big for a strict Assyrian defense. Either switch defenses or be willing to branch out. With that many cards, I'd do something like this:
Assyrian Archer
ASA
Survivor
The Rabarsaurus
King Manasseh
Uzzah
Gomer
The Amalekites' Slave
Egyptian Magicians
Astrologers
Confusion
Death of Unrighteous
2K Horses
Haman's Plot
Invoking Terror
Forgotten History
Magic Charms
Torment
Trembling Demon
Holy of Holies
-
The Rabarsaurus
Spoiler alert for future dinosaur discovery???

Well the twenty includes ECs, EEs, Forts, and Artifacts that are required

Just Assyrians are a mid-sized defense, and will not be good in that size, regardless of the number of support cards. When you splash magicians into it, you get more power than if you just use Assyrians.
