Title: Thinking of dipping my toes into Type 2
Post by: Adevine on July 08, 2017, 04:08:34 PM
Okay so as the subject line says, I am thinking of trying a type 2 deck out.  I like the idea of more versatility in play.  Any suggestions for a first time type 2 player?  I know the basic rules and I have read through several LoR articles, so I am just looking for thoughts from others who play type 2.

My suggestion is to build a deck from a deck list posted on here or LoR and play with that deck on Lackey or in person and see how you like the format.

Play with what you have and don't get too focused on strategies. Keep it simple and playtest and see what you are discarding continuously or what you need more of.

An Isaiah/Assyrians T2 deck can come almost entirely from FooF/RA cards, making it the cheapest and easiest to get.  I got 2nd in NE Regionals this weekend with it and most ppl I played were using some part of it as well
