Title: Set aside banding
Post by: Irish_Luck on April 13, 2011, 08:06:38 PM
Sorry if this is in the wrong spot on the boards but is there any set aside cards that would allow an  evil character, human or demon, to band with a human or are there any demons that can band to a human CBN?

Spirit of Temptation (Thesaurus) can CBI band to a human.

King Manasseh can band to demon CBN if Gates of Jerusalem is out. He's very useful. Gomer can band to almost all demons (except Cubus, Bear, and maybe a few others) and she's CBN if Hosea's not in play.

Habitation of Demons allows a demon to band to a human. As far as human to demon goes, there's not a set aside for that...

Thanks for your help, I was trying to find a way to band the new Goliath to Naaman with chariots to do an evil version of preblock with Wrath of Satan.

I'm confused, why do you need the new Goliath? And why not just use Philistine Chariot and Horses?

The new Goliath is the only Taunter in the game currently, and he needs to be able to band to Namaan or The Rabshakeh CBN to play "preblock" since his own SA Negates banding, drawing and play first.

Exactly, but there is no way to make this combo ... yet.

Use Habitation on Spirit of Temptation and band to both Goliath and Namaan/RabbyK with the Horses.

Use Habitation on Spirit of Temptation and band to both Goliath and Namaan/RabbyK with the Horses.

You have to start the band with Goliath to do it preblock.

Maybe there will be a card to do this in the next set.
