That was intentional to give a little more variety between the two versions.

only reason i asked was because most cards have the same 4/4 ie... but the text may change

Many times there is a specific reason for a card to have certain stats (they might tie into the story for example), so when a reprint is done those same stats are kept. Some cards just have stats based on what the playtesters at the time felt was appropriate so when a reprint is made, we can make a tweak to change things up.
