What exactly do people do with Job?
Why is he high up on the tier list?
I thought I was being funny when I built a lone-Job deck with him as my only hero, is that common?

Well Job is almost Mortal when u put out Dust and ashes.

It's more common than him being used in a deck with other human heroes. Sometimes he's combined with Silver. Job's Faith, plus Jubilee and Abraham's Descendant for the recursion. It's usually all you need, but it's always good to throw some other stuff in there.

Oh, the deck I made was weird (and not all that effective) I wanted to use and re-use the Job's Faith to its full extent, so I had Job as my only hero in the deck, thus I had a HUGE defense. It was fun... but it could've been alot stronger  :)

Sounds like pretty much a stereotypical Job deck, other than the absence of Silver. Angel at Shur and Angel of Warning are often used to grab the Job combo early.

Also, Striking Herod and Job's Faith both being 7/0's is epic in itself.

What I like is the fact that Job's Faith + Job = 20/12 (end of the world ;))
