Hey everyone,

•Are there any artifacts/covenants that increase all NT heroes in play by 2/2?

•Likewise, are there any curses/artifacts that decrease all OT heroes in play by 2/2 or decrease all NT heroes in play by 2/2?

1) I'm not sure

2)  There is a brown curse that decreases:  Plagued with Diseases is what I think it is called.  A common in the Priests expansion.

I don't mess with increase/decrease much so there may be others.

No. The only artifact/curse that decreases Heroes is Plagued with Diseases (0/2 or 0/3). The only artifacts/covenants that increase Heroes are Covenant with Salt (2/2 for OT) and Elijah's Mantle.

There WAS ...in fact, there was an AMAZING combo ...but now it got shot down ...curse the lack of cards in this way!  Covenant of Salt is better than nothing, but...

It certainly does.  But I prefer Joseph's Silver Cup with DoN to keep their Holy of Holies/Ashera Poles/etc. at bay.  Tis a necessary compensation, I'm afraid.

There is this combo that my brother discovered that decreases heros to nothing and you can't prevent it. Brown Birgade and High places are really the big key phrases here.

Some of the many. Seeds of Rebellion, Rebellion, many many more.
There is this brown enhancement that sits in your territory and decreases 0/1 for each birgade in play and I think it prevents draw abilities.

Type: Evil Enh. • Brigade: Brown • Ability: None • Class: None • Special Ability: Place in an opponent's territory. Negate draw abilities used by that player. All Heroes in that territory are decreased by 0/X. • Play As: Place in an opponent's territory. Negate draw abilities used by that player. Decrease all Heroes in that territory by 0/X. • Identifiers: OT, X = number of good brigades in this territory.

yeah... I've played with brown decreases before, they just don't have enough punch to work in the current meta, which makes me sad. I want to see decrease and disease get some massive buffs.

Believe me... decrease alone doesn't have the power to compete... because it cant win battles very well.

You don't have to face battles when there are no more heros to fight. They are all dead or kept from entering battle.

Thr problem is the lack of battle winners to survive the entire set up.  I, as well, would love to see decreases become stronger but for now, with so many cards you would have to have for it to reach its potential, you wouldn't have room for much battle winner enhancements.  And if you still don't believe us, then please show us your defense so we may learn the error of our ways :p

The thing is, the defense got taken apart and seperated. I don't know why he did it but it is forever lost unless he can remember it. I'll ask him to see if he remembers.

I was thinking about it... if Cactus was to make this theme stronger... the key is evil characters that power the defense, so your enhancements can just be decreases with a few battle winners.

Brown EC - Immune to all heroes with a reduced toughness. Cannot be prevented.

Brown EC - If blocking a weakened hero, the first evil enhancement played cannot be negated.

Brown/PG EC - If the block is successful, all weakened heroes in play become paralyzed, and may not enter battle until healed.

Actually, that's biblically sound.  We've got Jesus and the Holy Spirit.  OT heroes only had the prophets and priests.

But as anyone who knows me should know that I'd prefer a fun game over 100% accuracy.
