I am curious how you plan to deal with Abom?  I am aware of the popularity of disciples, but as you know...not everyone will play disciples.

He does include the absolute best Abom counter in the game: Abe's Descendant. All he needs to do is pick it up and keep it in his hand. Since he'll be playing a deck whose primary offensive and defensive strategies depend on that card, I'm sure he'll make room for it.
Yes but he needs Job AND D&A in play out of 63 cards to confidently pull that off.

Also, there is a potential chance that the Gold player has "Taking Egypt's Wealth" in their deck.

Still makes me curious how that match-up would go down.

I did turn in an ABOMB deck at the tourny this deck premiered at and both Tyler and I decided it would have been a better match up against TurtleJob. Also the local meta we were attending includes ABOMB in its attendance quite regularly so I would say that CP is a great addition.

Otherwise, I'd consider taking out Claudius. Immunity just isn't what it used to be,

Unless its the endgame and Disciple.dek has nothing left, then this guy is a beast as Thadd doesnt stop immunity.

Another reason to add Passover Hymn to recur with Matthew. Man- that card just gets better and better.

A-Bomb site lock would shut this down fairly easily, but I'm not sure how common that'll be with Fishing Boat out.
And how do you think Abomb will shut this deck down fairly easily? If anything Abomb has a smaller offense, and my defense will crush it as well. All they can do it place Abomb in my territory and I can outlast them until I get my Job/Descendant out. And Prof nailed it on the head already, I will take their Abomb and leave it in my hand. Also I have never ever ever ever, seen Taking Egypt's Wealth in a competitive T1 deck, not including sealed.  ;) So I am not worried about that, also the amount of negates on my defense, and wealth being a 4/2 I am not worried.

Another potential problem is if they know this is coming, in which case they will block with a random high numbered character, and save four evil cards in their hand. They'll discard three, play Falling Away, and then block with KoT for the rest of the game.
KoT? I play Job's Faith against him again and he is dead...

Hezzy's Ring is in there for Scribe endgame. That kills me, so I will wait until very end to activate it. I still think I need another battle winner to stop Scribe/Proud. And yeah Emp Claudius has got to stay, he is so good against Disciples. Think about it, they have Reach/AoCp, and My Lord and My God. I can negate the last one, Herod's Temple both, and if they use Passover Hymn and recur it I will Wonders Forgotten it. Emperor Claudius/Herod Phillip 2 are just too strong late/end game to not have. And adding CP for a Media will be a great addition to stop an Abomb deck. I also have the lost soul that discards an evil card in my territory, another Abomb counter. They also have to get out High Places, a Greek, Abomb, and be able to play it before I Roman Destroys Jerusalem their High Places. If they don't have High Places then that Abomb is sitting in their hand the whole game, and then it will get Job's Faith'ed.

I didn't think about Abraham's Descendant. I think I'll add a Darius' Decree to my ABOM, hahaha. Although, despite your defense being awesome, it probably couldn't hold up to my ABOMB offense, considering you probably wouldn't get a chance to block...

Situation: both players are decked. You rescue Job. I block with 12FG. You play Job's Faith. I die, you get a soul. You play Abraham's Descendant and get back Job's Faith. I block with Philistine Garrison. You play Job's Faith. I die, you get a soul. You play Son of God. You now have three souls. If you try to rescue again, I will just block with KoT, negating Jubilee.

If you don't play Abraham's Descendant before battle, I'll block with KoT, negating both Abe's Kid and Jubilee, preventing you from getting another soul.
If you Grapes KoT, then I could DoN Hezzy's Sig Ring, block Armor Bearer, get back Garrison, and you'd play Jubilee and Job's Faith, putting you at four. On your next rescue, I discard Philistine Outpost and get back Garrison again. The most you can get is four.

EDIT: duh. I wouldn't have DoN because Job's Faith. I guess you'll just have to play Grapes offensively, and hope that they don't have five evil characters over 6 defense.

If you have to set up a situation just to show this deck losing, I am fine with that. The offense is supposed to be an end game tactic when they have put everything down. Also I should have discarded Outpost via RDJ, so we can do the what if game, but I think this deck is very stable. Although like I said earlier, it could use another good battle winner.

Wickedness of the Tenants in for Stiff-Necked?  I suppose only 3 of your ECs can use it (and one of them is Uzzah), but ITB+Discard+CBP is awesome.

It was in there but I never got to use it. It is too situational, and usually becomes a waste.

That's because you haven't played my competitive Abomb deck and remember I'm the one goofy enough to add those type of cards (remember Habakkuk Stands Watch).

What I'm really interested in: I'm curious to why you revealed this deck just before the big tournaments?  That seems like you are inviting counters or copiers.

Or he just WANTS everyone to think that he's going to play this deck so that when he really shows up with his speedy Disciples/Pharisees deck that he catches all his opponent's off guard and wipes them off the map  ;)

I don't really know. After the district the guys were interested to see what was in it, so I said I'd post it. I'm mostly a T2 guy so I don't mind too much.
