The offense is something I have been running all of this season and late last season, but the defense changed drastically when FoM released. I'll see if I can post that list (a deck I called "Speed Freak Revelation") at some point as it's on my old laptop. Had I made a last minute decision to play T1 2P at Nationals, this is the list I would have run.

The Second Coming
Three Woes (RoJ)
Christian Martyr (I)
Guardian of Your Souls (RoJ)

Angels of Wrath (RoJ)

The Third Seal
Covenant of Prayer (RoJ)
You Will Remain

Fifth Bowl of Wrath (RoJ)
Fourth Bowl of Wrath (RoJ)
War in Heaven (RoJ)

Red Dragon (RoJ)

The Amalekites' Slave (FoM)
The Deceiver (RoJ)

The Wages of Sin (FoM)

Notes/Commentary:

*While it doesn't quite have the "2nd turn deck out" speed that some Throne builds can have, it is plenty fast. In one game I played a couple weeks ago, I decked out on turn 4 and pulled 8 cards from Reserve (and won turn 4).

*Even though there are some great non-Revelation Angels that could fit (AutO, Gabriel, Captain), I decided to keep the "Revelation Unity" for Angelic Army. While I didn't use their ability in every game, the games I did use it, it was pretty clutch (taking out things like Gates of Hell, evil Three Woes & Covenant with Death).

*Originally I had Angel from the Sun with the Justin Martyr package in Reserve but decided I didn't want to get stuck with a human who got hit by The Serpent who I felt I was seeing in enough decks that I wanted to keep it all Angels. If I did add a human, I think I would go with Polycarp since he would never attack and he has a built in "get himself off the table" ability.

*4th Bowl of Wrath might be my favorite enhancement in the deck. I often used the banish on an EC not in battle (sometimes even my own EC) so I could hit their hand without surrendering special initiative. That play has won me countless battles and often ended up hitting dominants.

*Michael's Sword was a late season add as it seemed like the only way I was getting blocked was by Uzzah, Fire Foxes and Bel's Banquet. Usually I try to save 5th Seal to grab Michael's Sword though sometimes if I drew 5th Seal early, I would grab Guidance to try and get a quick start.

Really amazing deck, Justin! One of the players in my group has been using something very similar to this for T1 since RoJ came out. It's a strong deck in either format.

I would encourage you to keep the offense free of humans. One of the things that gives #Mayhem a hard time is an all angel offense takes away one of the "cheese" rescues by eliminating the Falling Away+Asahel combo. As I'm sure that deck and some of the tricks it uses will be more popular now that the "cat is out of the bag".

One thing I realized on the way home from nats was how amazing it would have been if I had evil armor in the deck. Interrupting the battle and playing dragon’s wrath would have probably won me a game or two considering that I could interrupt Abigail’s territory protection or to not have to simply negate what is taking out Red Dragon. I think my build will always include Baby Dragon (starter deck RD), Simon the Magician, Red Dragon (RoJ), dream, and evil armor.

Fine, just go ahead and give away all the secrets for this season's version... ;)

Don’t think it can hit covenant with death anymore though.  Curses played as artifacts are neutral now, right?

While active as artifacts, they are considered neutral artifacts and cannot be targeted as good/evil cards.

What?? I thought we made that an impromptu Local? That would've changed the ENTIRE game. I think you should be disqualified...
