This is the version of The Deck that I played at nationals, tied for 7th with Chris and Olijar.
Cards 52
Souls 8:
Hopper
2 liner
*/4
Female
Revealer
CBP
NT
Exchanger
Good Doms 4:
SoG
NJ
AotL
HT
Evil Doms 3:
DoN
FA
CM
Arts 3:
UW
Charms
Cov. w/ Death
Heroes 10:
Seraph (RoA)
Seraph w/Live Coal
Micheal (Ki)
AUtO
Isaiah
David (green)
Daniel
Aaron
Samuel
King Saul (purple)
Good Enhancements 10:
Protection of Angels (Pr)
Striking Herod
Live Coal
Isaiah's Call
Wheel
Two Bears
Sam's Edict
Zadok Anoints Solomon
Pentecost
First Fruits
Evil Characters 7:
Egyptian Magicians
Damsel
King Manasseh
Balaam
Astrologers
Survivor
Slave
Evil Enhancements 7:
Invoking Terror
Achan's Sin
Divination
DoU
2k horses
Forgotten something
Magician's Snakes
When I got the defense out it got blocks. Invoking terror can take out a Moses, or a Simeon, Magician's Snakes on Balaam is an excellent block, Divination regularly buried souls and got SoG/NJ out sooner, DoU... well it's DoU, not much else to say.

I'd definitely add a Hormah. And Moses, LOL.
Also, no Guardian? Seems risky. I really like the defense though. Divination is a boss card that most people should use over Charms.
-
After seeing this version of the Deck compared to others I would say this is not really the same deck. There is an actual defense and this has more enhancements on offense and this deck doesn't have the Jacob/Simeon + Moses band.
So the only real similarity is the Angel + Isaiah/Daniel bands.

You had no room for Moses in this deck? That's a joke.
Cut the PoA or David. Done.

I agree on the whole Moses and Hormah thing. Hormah worked wonders for me. It's also good for soul gen; I'm sure you know the trick. As for guardian, it's questionable. I don't think it's necessary, but other people might not agree. Either way, I like this deck.

Switching for their soul and putting their soul in Hormah So they draw it again?

Yeppers. Granted they have to draw it again, but with the way decks draw nowadays, it usually comes up pretty soon. And at some point in the game they usually shuffle, which is bound to bring out the soul faster.

This is surprisingly similar to my deck :o
No ASA? I mean, yes, the only other Assyrian is Survivor, but Siege Army is still boss.

ASA is also 12/12 with a situational ability :P

I concur. I played with ASA at nats, and the only time he really helped me was when he pulled off a great block against Matt Townsend with the help of Mayhem that gave me a several turn advantage (which I then entirely blew by making mistakes on three straight rescue attempts). If I were able to redo nats, I would have taken ASA out of my deck.

If you play with A Archer and A Survivor then it makes sense to play ASA, imo. However, with just one other Assyrian I am not so sure he is worth it.

I played with Archer, I got to use ASA's ability like once or twice the entire tournament. He's just not reliable in type I

Thanks for sharing. I only get to use this ability every 4 or 5 games. However, I get to block a FBN attack with him every 2 or 3 games. Against FBN banding Archer + ASA is 17 defense versus 13 for Manny + Balaam/Damsel/etc.
If you aren't using Goliath, KoT, or someone else big then I think there is value in playing 1 large EC such as ASA. Plus by using A Slave I can pull him out faster. Best way to knock out Gates of Samaria unless you want to use Edict on it.
Thoughts?

I ran ASA in Teams. He was a beast. One turn Prof. Underwood's teammate plays DustandAshes then Prof. attacks with Job my partner blocks with ASA with my survivor down kills DnA and Job dies. We also killed thier kingdoms and wall that game but still lost.

Yeah that game didn't go well for fortresses. Your ASA took out our DnA (and my whole Job offense) and KotW (my CTB stopper), and we ended getting to use your 2nd ASA to take out your Judge's Seat that would've caused us a lot of problems (even though you got it back in late-game). That was a fun game, I'm glad we got to play you guys :)
