Thanks! :D
I was really excited to do so well. Top 10 is really good at Nats, let alone top 5! (especially having won at that table with Tim, Martin, and Justin which I was almost entirely convinced I would lose terribly at, lol)

You were actually 1 soul from a very close 2nd ;)
This deck was great and it was too bad that I never got to see your defense.

Indeed. :P
Our game might have gone quite differently if I had drawn into more of it. I might have been able to squeeze my 5th before you. ;)

I was also extremely lucky to go around 2 rounds without Guardian at 4 souls. That game should have ended quite differently.

Awesome job Scott! Glad I could help make your deck work for you :)
Thanks a bunch! Your suggestions were invaluable at several points during the rounds. ^_^

Congrats man! but when they were announcing the 5th and 4th place, they said we both had 10 pts and 20 ls differential i think.. wouldn't that make us tied for 4th place?
-
I checked the Covenant Games site and it said that I was in 4th, but I don't know if that takes into account ties or not. Also, does head-to-head affect anything in multiplayer? Cuz that could explain it, too.
I'm happy to share 4th with you if that's what the case is. :D
-
head to head is the first tiebreaker. not sure if that is the same for multi, however.
-
Well done with your 4th place and winning the toughest table you played!
If you want some constructive criticism read the text below. If you don't that's OK too. :)
Cut the right 6 cards from your deck and you most likely rescue a couple more souls, placing 3rd or even 2nd.

Heh, if I knew what cards to cut I would have cut them prior to Saturday's play. Any chance you could give me some hints? ;)
-
Just cut the defense and you'd be good.
-
but maly won multi. doesnt he use a larger than normal defense?

In 2P definitely, but I'd be willing to bet he modified his 2P deck a bit to be more offense-weighted.
-
You could take out seven sons. Other than that... idk.

He cut his normal 56 down to 50 and (don't quote) it seemed a little more aggressive.
