This deck does a lot but does have focal points. A lot of ways to get an early Jacob to search for Numerous, band to a meek hero and then Jacob to search for Offering for Your Son and band to a meek hero, are really great early set up pieces when needed, albeit not always the strongest rescues. If you can snag Achim, Mary, and Jesse you have TC negation and protection. The battle winners come from the Reserve. The offense wants to set up fast and get out Goshen/Storehouse, negate the opponent's cards, and provide protection to your meek bands. Goshen/Protection for toss, meek bands that are CBN/P with Windows of Narrow Light active is also very strong. Impartial Judgement play because why not. Between the fast and consistent setup, the flexible bands to Noah with Mary protecting them all and preventing with Goshen/Coliseum is crazy strong. Jehoshaphat allows for abuse of this. The pieces I just said (Mary/Goshen/Coliseum) in a band that goes Eleazar, Jehoshaphat who bounces Noah, Zadok (added for Joseph to connect the band), band to Noah allows for tossing CBN enhancements and brigades not in battle, offers Noah protection through Mary, and Noah prevents their cards.

I like this defense, the sneaky strength is a band that is protected from the first enhancement played (one of the EC's), and you have two ways to add to battle. Saph first, or a character with protection, then adding the other piece, or adding a Goliath, is very strong. Adding Philistine Commanders is also a great add.

I really like the looks of this list. Playing so many individually good cards with the common tread pulling them together. Two questions. How good is humble seeker? Have you gotten consistent stops out of the defense late game after oponant is set up ?

Humble Seeker is nice, it's more so a way to get out a meek hero with double protection with Mary, or just another way to get out a hero/a decent rescue. I don't use it much or rely on it. As for when they are set up, I use Impartial Judgement around turn 3-4, that usually takes care of that problem. I might add The First Sacrifice over Root of Jesse, but a CBN protected Zerubbabel band is very strong. Mary also protects Noah in a band that prevents cards. I do think a First Sacrifice with this band later on is a battle winner.
