Title: Nathan Moses
Post by: GreatGray on August 25, 2016, 11:22:45 AM
Howdy all! I just made a version of the deck that I've been wanting to do for a while and it finally struck me last night. So the deck's background is this: my name IRL is actually Nathan Moses Levorson and for the longest time I've wanted to use Nathan(TxP) but haven't played a deck that supported him but, Now with new Moses(CoW) I finally got an idea for it. Concept is this: I can manipulate my lost souls(including my opponents'),  have the ability to exchange hero's and evil humans for recursion with Noah(CoW), destroy stuff with Assyrians, and have bullet-resistant cloud heroes with Abel(CoW).

Hebrews 12:8 soul(forgot name)
Hebrews 4:13 Open Hands
Luke 5:15 Crowds
Ezekiel 34:6 Wanderer
Hebrews 5:11 Dull
Hebrews 10:25 Forsaken
Romans 3:23 Revealer

Son of God
The Second Coming
Angel of the Lord
Grapes of Wrath
Christian Martyr
Fallen Away(Women's)
Mayhem

Artifacts/Fortresses:
You Will Remain
Hidden Treasures
Magic Charms
Cloud of Witnesses
Jericho

Heroes:
Nathan
Moses(CoW)
Samuel(RoA)
David, the Psalmist
Daniel(CoW)
Abel(CoW)
Noah(CoW)
Barnabus(EC)
Angel of the Winds
The Angel Under the Oak

Good Enhancements:
Sins Forgotten(CoW)
Benaiah Snatches a Spear
Visions
Two Bears
Faith of Abel
Faith of Samuel
Word of Their Testimony

Evil Characters:
Assyrian Survivor
Assyrian Archer
Assyrian Siege Army
Egyptian Magicians
Astrologers
Damsel with Spirit of Divination
Foreign Wives

Evil Enhancements
Death of Unrighteous
Forgotten History
Achan's Sin
Two Thousand Horses
Confusion(CoW)
Scattered
Invoking Terror

Thing I thought about: I haven't played Magicians before and I'm not sure if swapping Foreign Wives for Elymas(EC) would be good or not. Instead of the Wanderer and Open Hands souls I would probably run doubler and punsisher lost souls. Micah is another hero that would probably work well for recurring the non clay good enhancements.
I hope you enjoyed this and any and all feedback is welcome!

What besides ASA do you have to deal with colesium?

I'd suggest dropping grapes or mayhem for shipwreck and then I'd say looking pretty solid.

I am personally not a fan of Angel of the winds, I rarely find him useful in games. Either I have a better option for the rescue or its negated or protected against. What about Philips Daughters instead?

Until it is banned, I recommend using a Liner LS in 100% of decks that use Confusion and Death of Unrighteous.

You have 7 ECs and 7 EEs, including 2 EEs that bomb your own EC.  I recommend going 8 ECs/6 EEs by adding Elymas or The Serpent and dropping Achan's Sin.  I know Achan's Sin is a lot better now because of Coliseum and Jericho, but I don't think this deck is fast enough to compensate for only 7 ECs, especially when 2 of your EEs kill your ECs.

That's a good call. that Assyrian dude who makes weapons CBN and every mans sword are worth a consideration of you drop achans sin.

Woops, I did have a Serpent in my IRL decklist but forgot to write it down, dropping Achan's sounds good, Rabshakeh Every mans sword I'll definitely think more about. Then there's Shipwreck, I would definitely use that if I had one, same with Liner. Philip's Daughters I also didn't think about but now will! Thanks for the feedback and advice all!

The reason you see a lot of Angel of the Winds is in Meta decks who rely on having a great opening hand. For example, in my deck I currently have AutO, The Angel of the Winds, I am Creator and I'm considering adding The Angel with the Secret Name just so I can get to one of two Heroes immediately.

I have always wanted to make Nathan work in a deck. I was named after him too. Great idea!
