Story behind the deck:
I haven't seen an offense with the ability to win a lot of battles, as most offenses are built off of very strong heroes. It is my plan to get rid of as many of Heroes as possible (Moses, TSA, Captain)!
-
I would use User of Curious Arts instead of Balaam since he can use your other brigade enhancements.
-
Thanks, I missed that, I had previously ran a version where I used balaam's disobedience and sabbath breaker.
-
Do you find Esau and stocks with the 2 slots?
Also don't you find sisera to be more beneficial for your opponent more often then for you?
-
For a "large" defense you need to be focused... otherwise your deck is going to clog.
You either need to have a super huge mono color defense or something like a multi color Roman or Herod deck (this is just a starting point for ideas) that takes advantage of the fact it uses a billion different brigades.
Right now your deck just has greatest hits of your favorite brigades.... not sure how it would function in the real world.
-

As a Canaanite player, the look of dismay on the face of someone who gets a decent-sized band into battle that just happens to include some Red warriors, Sam, or Israelite Archer, only to have it blocked by Sisera with a sinister grin and an expectant "My initiative?"...it is GLORIOUS. Wrath, Joseph in Prison, Hunger, whatever, it is delicious (especially JiP). You can usually gain initiative if they are actually banding, and sometimes even when they are not. Otherwise, you just don't block with him, you control the CBN, so it doesn't help them any more than you let it.

“Do you find Esau and stocks with the 2 slots?”
Yes I think it is worth the two slots, as it is one of the multiple ways I have of dealing with TSA and I’ve enjoyed it. I have to admit, I’ve considered dropping the two of them for Cov. with death and KOT and then replacing user of curious arts with Balaam. If you have any suggestions, I’m open to them.
“Also don't you find Sisera to be more beneficial for your opponent more often then for you?”
Sisera is great against their Aaron/Moses, Simeon/Jacob/Captain, warrior class fbnb, it is ok against judges(the numbers on her aren’t that great.
Honestly I’m just careful with Sisera and choose when I use her selectively, and have not had a problem as of yet. If he doesn't get initiative, I don’t put him out to block. It plays well against some of the meta.

I’m going to have to agree to disagree, I’m going for efficiency here. A single brigade defense WOULD give me a better chance of having cards of a matching brigade in my hand, but each single color defense eventually leaves me with some cards in my hand that are of the same color, but are weaker options. In my opinion the same principles apply as it would to a spread offense.
I’ve done the best I can to mitigate the issue:
-being able to use multiple brigades: Foreign wives, user of curious arts, scattered.
-Stall tactics: writ, herd’s dungeon.
-Strong characters: Goliath, Foreign wives, Herod the great.
I honestly have not had a large issue with it, also divination helps. (though I have considered burial shroud to help also).
3)Redoubter:
Sisera is nasty against those bands and joe in prison/wrath against some decks could entirely cripple an offense.

Honestly I’m just careful with Sisera and choose when I use her selectively,
One of the most common misconceptions surrounding Redemption cards strikes again! It's kind of ironic that Redemption players are some of the only people (besides theologians and Biblical scholars) who know that people like Sisera and Jael are in the Bible, yet they are also probably the only people who, upon reading the book of Judges, may be surprised to find that Sisera is a dude, and Jael is a woman.

Although, I hope people don't make that assumption, since Stone isn't CBN on Sisera :o
I guess I just knew the story and knew which was which, but if you haven't read it, then you should (it is short (http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Judges+4&version=NIV))! Barak, Deborah, Jael, Sisera, interesting dynamics and lessons all around (mostly not to accept a drink and place to sleep from strangers...but I digress).

More power to you than brother! I have a feeling the meta in you're area is much different than the national average... personally no matter how good of a player I was I don't think I would be able to pilot that deck out here.
I would recommend trying to connect the brigades a bit more. I had a deck I used to use a while back.... where the defense in the deck was over 30+ cards in a 56 card deck. But everything evil character either banded to a evil character, was a auto block or was able to use a enhans of any brigade. What I got was the most effective defenses possible! I always had EC's and I could ALWAYS play my enhans... I effectively had no clog and could stop everything .
The point of my rambling is..... be wearing of hand clog! It's how you lose tournaments and make sad faces.

Lol yea I know sisera is not a woman, I switch "her" with him on accident I used "him" the other three times when identifying "HIM" :P
