Hi there,
topic says it all! ;D
Does he really swing a cat (or so)? And if so - why?
Thanx for a short clarification!
Bye

Perhaps because cats are so confounding, they threw them to their enemies to drive them into madness!! :rollin:
-
Does one need a reason to swing a cat?

The Persians did that when they attacked the Egyptians bc the Egyptians revered cats. Yes, this is true and not made up.

Yep! The Battle of Pelusium, to be exact. You can read more here (https://www.ancient.eu/article/43/the-battle-of-pelusium-a-victory-decided-by-cats/), if you find it interesting/want more detail.

Fascinating information. Thanks for the great read

Cats are also known to carry diseases. When I went to Guatemala they killed any cats that came on to their campus so that they wouldn't get people sick and ruin their food. So the Persians would throw cats over the walls to do the same thing to their opposition.
