Avoid the Void (which descends from another game of mine, Malta) is a tactical, chaotic game where players control bizarre aliens trying to not get sucked into black holes. There's a lot of info on how the game works on that page, so check it out! Happy to answer any questions either there or on this forum.

I remember a game called Cosmic Encounter years ago that I played I don't know if that's similar but it was an interesting game.

Cosmic Encounter is a classic, for sure! It's got some surface similarities to Avoid the Void - chaotic gameplay, aliens with different special powers, and high interaction - but the gameplay core is pretty different. Thanks for checking the game out!
