I don't Play T2 so don't take my word for it but isn't having 5 Zeals an absolute NEED.

It just changed this last nationals, only 4 of every single brigade card.  I found I won most of my LS's when playing this deck from the banding then from enhancements, mostly the recurring of fellowship offering.

This offense strives on setting up fast, and always attacking. Streamline the deck to this need and you'll win, a lot. Get Z Temple out ASAP, and be able to recur it through your enh. Run 2-3 Z Temple, and you need Scapegoats to take out evil cards on your temple, and since you are giving up initiative.
2 Joshua the High Priest
2 Joiada, Son of Eliashib
2 Jonathan, Son of Joiada
2 Jaddua, son of Jonathan
2 Joiakim, Son of Joshua
2 Eliashib the High Priest
1 Haggai- add one more
1 Cherubim (FF2)- I like this, I would do 2, one doesn't seem fitting.
3 Zeal for the Lord
3 Jehoiada’s Strength- Eh, you band enough drop for 2 Scapegoats.
2 Trumpet Blast- How are you going to play this?
1 Fellowship Offering
1 Sin Offering- Out for the interrupt play next
1 First Fruits
1 Pentecost
1 Protection of Jerusalem - 1 silver guy won't cut it. Out for the the interrupt play next.
1 Zerubbabel’s Temple- need at least one more.
1 Wall of Protection
1 Storehouse- out for another Z temple. This offense only needs minimum enhs.
2 Covenant with Phinehas
3 Covenant with Levi- out
1 Son of God
1 New Jerusalem
1 Angel of the Lord
1 Guardian of Your Souls
1 Grapes of Wrath

Try to cut it back to 38 and focus more on Z temple going by turn 1-3.

funny you should post on this today, ive just reworked the deck actually, here is the new offense:

2 Joshua the High Priest
2 Joiada, Son of Eliashib
2 Jonathan, Son of Joiada
2 Jaddua, son of Jonathan
2 Joiakim, Son of Joshua
2 Eliashib the High Priest
2 Haggai
2 Cherubim (FF2)
4 Zeal for the Lord
1 Fellowship Offering
1 Sin Offering
1 First Fruits
1 Pentecost
2 Protection of Jerusalem
2 Zerubbabel’s Temple
1 Wall of Protection
2 Covenant with Phinehas
2 Covenant with Levi- out
1 Son of God
1 New Jerusalem
1 Angel of the Lord
1 Guardian of Your Souls
1 Grapes of Wrath

its at 38 now.  scapegoat kills all my 2k horses on my assyrian archers, so i dont use it.  what do i have to play with the interrupt play next you suggest to add?  sin offering is in there to kill placed enhancements (destructive sin, image of J, ect)  so that my heros and z-temple work.  what would u suggest for getting rid of these cards?

Personally, I'd switch the defense just so you can include Scapegoats. Jordan Interrupted is the interrupt, play next. Those are crucial. Burning Incense is also a nice add. Altar up attack with your band, interrupt if they have anything and ignore them. Try to see what normally hurts, stops, or stalls you, and tech against it.

I would switch out to a different defense or even a different offense, but i don't have to cards to do it, so i make do.  I could still put it in, for it would be far more effective than sin offering, and just be careful with my 2k horses. i don't see much of a reason for it, because usually my opponent just hands me inish.  because I'm protected from most everything, they cant kill me and i don't have to interrupt their kill cards. which is why trumpet blast works as well, because the only way they can stop me is autoblock (which uzzah and trembling demon don't work against this offense anyway) or giant banding, and t-blast loves giant banding.  Do you think alter could replace cov w/phin?  that never really worked for me in T1 but idk T2

In type 2 you want to make sure nothing your opponent has works. Cov w/ Phin does this. Stopping removal/capture/discard is insane. And since your numbers are so high, all you need is interrupts/negates and battle winners i.e. Jordan Interrupted/Zeal/Scapegoat/T Blast/Burning Incense. Just 2-3 of each and heavy hero's will do the trick. I guess Scapegoat is not needed so badly, I just prefer it. Zeal x4 is a must, Jordan Interrupted x3, then two of each of Burning Incense and T Blast. Since you only do two Burning Incense, Altar is not as important. So what are you going to discard with those 3 Uzzah's? You have 10 artifacts, 3 d/c themselves after use, Urim you always want to keep, that's 6 artifacts left. This doesn't even include their DoN/characters or cards that destroy artifacts now. He might be a fluff card.

but why do you need the interrupts?  they cant kill you because of the protection, so what is there to interrupt?  i would use scapegoat to get rid or destructive sin, image of jealousy, ect, so to me that is much better then something like jordan interrupted.  what could you take out for t-blast? it seems pretty tight.  also, i have 14 artifacts counting the 2 cov /phin and 2 cov w/levi, leaving me 11 to discard.  against most decks ill have no use for cov w/levi, so that gives me good uzzah fodder

2 Joshua the High Priest
2 Joiada, Son of Eliashib
2 Jonathan, Son of Joiada
2 Jaddua, son of Jonathan
2 Joiakim, Son of Joshua
2 Eliashib the High Priest
2 Haggai-out, just need one
2 Cherubim (FF2)
4 Zeal for the Lord
1 Fellowship Offering-out
1 Sin Offering
1 First Fruits-out
1 Pentecost-out
2 Protection of Jerusalem
2 Zerubbabel’s Temple
1 Wall of Protection
2 Covenant with Phinehas
2 Covenant with Levi- did you take these out?
1 Son of God
1 New Jerusalem
1 Angel of the Lord
1 Guardian of Your Souls
1 Grapes of Wrath

What do you do about Goliath with your WoP out? I took out 3 cards, that leaves you with 2 T Blast, and a Z Temple recursion enhancement. I think you need to add a few more enhancements.

Hey Zac! Ah, my apprentice has well-beyond passed me up in T1 and now goes for the kill in T2, lol. Love the deck. I've been working on a ZT/Demons T2 deck for fun, but yours looks legit!

Quote
sin offering is in there to kill placed enhancements (destructive sin, image of J, ect)  so that my heros and z-temple work.  what would u suggest for getting rid of these cards?

It would speed things up if your anti-EE cards were territory class but it looks like about the only way to pull that is if you step into my often-scoffed world of the Z-man himself (image him in a Zerubbabel's temple deck!) and throw in Zerubbabel (2) Lifting the Curse (2). Zerubbabel helps you get the right links to the chain on when it comes to banding. With Urim and Thummim, you can tell when it is a bad time to use him (KoT, Raiders Camp+Capture, etc). Bonus: has access to all the Golgotha sites we'll be seeing this season.

Just a thought. We all have different play styles, as you and I often discuss. I'm an admitted search-o-holic, lol...

Hey Joey!  I like the idea, it would definately help, I just don't really have room for him.  That would be 4 spots, and I really only have sin offering to take out at this point.  I have no idea what to take out really, the offense is as small as it can get, I really can't take out anything.

Also, I'm gonna add Holy Grail to take care of Goliath for the last holy of holies

Zerubbabel all around "bests" Haggai, IMO. He can get ZT or pull out a bander. Without Provisions or Search the "Green-ness" of Haggai serves you no additional good, while White Zerubbabel matches up with First Fruits (not like you'd need the match up).

Unfortunately in your deck he doesn't get you many... (er... any?) enhancements. In my deck he pulls out Filling ZT, Holy unto the Lord, and Ezra's Journey.

Out = Haggai (2) Sin Offering (1) ______ (1) - personally with Jaddua/lampy I would cut GoyS
In = Zerubbabel (2) Lifting the Curse (2)

-Joey

Red was always playable :)

I like the idea, it feels weird not having haggi in there, but ill gain more with having lifting the curse than ill love by not having haggi.  the only problem with this is that having 2 lifting the curse only lets me kill 2 placed enhancements/curses, but hopefully that will be enough to get me by.  now i just need to get my hands on another z-man and lifting the curse....and 2 ASA....and a protection of jerusalem....and 2 Assyrian survivors....and 2 FBTN LS's....and a few other LS's (a One Brigade, No O.T. Ignore LS and a No Covenant, No Prevent First LS)

anyone got any of these to trade? :)

I updated the list in the first post with all the new changes

I don't know, I guess I'm still kinda torn, which do you think would be better Redemption community:

2 Haggi and 2 Scapegoat      or      2 Zerubbabel and 2 Lifting the Curse

I would personally prefer Hag/scapegoat, since Hag bands to you bulletproof priests and both Zerub and hag search for temple so that's a wash, unless you include more enh zerub searches for--I would only attack with hag if I was searching for the temple and after that, just band to his boys. Zerub can do some nice searching for you but he isn't banding so he won't be playing your nice teal battlewinners. Scapegoat is more versatile since it's teal, not white like lifting the curse (tho I do like LTC territory classness). Scape will benefit you in battle more since you will be attacking primarily with your teal priests, and they will need that support.
If you playtest 2 versions of the deck with these differences you should be able to tell which one you like better. :)
