also needs some way to stop preblock ignore. RTC, Miriam, TGT.

Pharaoh’s Throne Room (Pi)
Type: Fortress • Brigade: None • Ability: None • Class: None • Special Ability: Protect Egyptian Evil Characters in your territory from discard and conversion. While you have an Egyptian king or Pharaoh in play, negate all “ignore” abilities on opponent’s Heroes.

Anti-Ignore LS (RA)
Type: Lost Soul • Brigade: None • Ability: None • Class: None • Special Ability: While you have only one evil brigade in play, negate all ignore abilities on O.T. good cards. • Identifiers: None • Verse: Proverbs 22:10 • Availability: Rock of Ages booster packs (None)

This is the way Lackey gave it to me. All hail the power of Lackey!

Neither of those stop TGT...

Isn't the single-brigade defense enough of a reason to not need anything specific for TGT?

Idk, I have always sucked at deck-making >_<

Pharohs Throne Room helps to stop TGT decks from clearing your defense by protecting your EC from discard and conversion. How does this not help against TGT?

You said stop, not help against.

Lazarus would help.
Use your egyptians to discard most of your opponent's deck and then Lazarus Convincing Miracle.
Convincing Miracle CBN and get's your lazarus back.
Retired?

I agree with most of what has been said here.
I would take out Herod's Dungeon for Kir. Like Ring Wraith said, you've only got one Herod. Kir is good against side battles or choose the blocker.

Yeah, use Lazarus, Zaccheus, The Generous Widow, Faith as a Mustard Seed, Ambush the City, Pharaoh's Throne Room, and Anti-Ignore LS.

Take out Shuffle LS, because of rescuer's choice and your sites, they will hurt you more than help. You probably don't want 2/3 liner either.
I would also take out some Take as Slave and put in Wonders Forgotten or Swift Horses/Egyptian Horses. So many things are protected by capture, that I think you have too many captures.
Also, Herod's Treachery is multicolored which means 1 per deck, even in Type 2. Sorry.

If you still don't have enough Heroes, you can always use things like Moses, Simeon, Elizabeth, Israelite Archer, Eve, Tola, Joshua, Ehud or Elders of Jerusalem.

I would typically use more negates than 1 Plague of Hail. More of those or Bow and Arrow or Ehud's Dagger (probably just 2 more).

I think overall, it looks good for a first attempt. More cards will give you a better deck, but just by using this and playing it for a bit, you'll see certain strategies that work and ones that don't so you can focus in on strategies. My deck that won Nationals used Provisions to make my opponent block with one of my Brown ECs and then I used Clemency of David to ignore Brown. Hone in on a theme or strategy instead of trying to do too much (Egyptians, Magicians, Herods) and you'll have a decent deck.

Edit your list and we'll comment some more. I know some of those cards you probably don't have, but do what you can.

I don't really have a magicians theme, I just threw in Charms because I needed more cards in it, lol. The only magicians in there are there because they're Egyptian. I threw in the Herods because they had more capture and I didn't have anymore useful Egyptians.

I have one Kir, possibly a Lazarus and Zaccheus, and maybe an anti-ignore LS but I don't think I have the rest of those so this may end up being a terribly cobbled deck :P.

Don't fret, just change what you can, and keep working on it. Take it to the tourney and see how it does. I'm sure you can get some of the commons/uncommons (A New Creation or Wonders Forgotten) from people there for cheap or even free (I will typically give cards to players, especially if they're common or I have 20 of them...).

Add what heroes you can and if you're looking for cards to just throw in, Unholy Writ, Burial Shroud, and Temple Veil are always good options.

You'd probably wanna go 37/37/31 or 38/38/29.

Edit your original post with your final deck when you come up with it.

Okay, I made some changes to the deck and have updated the first post with the current form. It is now legal (unless I missed another rule like the 1 of multicolor thing) with 105 cards, 14 Lost Souls, and even good/evil.

It looks pretty good, especially for a first deck.

One comment though, 3 Lazarus is a bit much, especially since they're the Red one. I would take one out and throw in either another negate or Ambush the City. They are the best way to get around FBTN, large bands, or lots of demons. It's also good early on, if you have two Heroes and they have 1 EC. :)  If you could, take out a Lazarus and A New Creation for Ambush the City x2. If not, take out Lazarus for another negate or Gold Hero (Soldier of God, Seeker, or one of the others I listed earlier).

I have one Ambush the City, and no more negates, so I'll just replace one Lazarus with one AtC.
