best combo for disciple offence?

The title is pretty self explanatory. I haven't tried disciples in type two and aside from having 1more Bart its complete. I only need a good defense to pair up with them. I have every theme except canaanites. Im going to run them in type 2 2player at 112- 119. Any advice is appreciated.

Typically Disciples use either stand-alone defenses and/or ones with a protect fort due to the presence of AoCp, even though I think MLaMG is a much better battle winner. Pharisees are probably the most popular choice, but I can see an Assyrian/Magicians defense pairing well with Disciples also. You could even try one of the Manny defenses which is basically a bunch of demons, magicians and other banding evil characters paired with the best battle winners from each brigade.

i havnt done it yet but i am working on a magcians based defense to pair with disicples using chump blocks from pale green, crimson, yellow. Throw in Uzzah, Gomer, Goliath, Philly Outpost, Philly armor Bearer, bringing fear and perhaps Assyrian Survivor and Cupbearer for soul gen and i think it might work.

yea the aocp + aoc recycle with mathew makes me swing towards philistines since I can recycle them with outpost and their brute force but idk.what is mlamg?

MLaMG is My Lord and My God

It says if used by a disciple negate and discard an evil card.  (something along those lines)

The best defense to pair with Disciples are Pharisees. They make up for what the Disciples lack in speed, have a protection Fort for AoCp (and it holds Unholy Writ), they can play first and have a number of CBP/CBN battle winners.

The best combo for a Disciple offense is Thaddeus with his 10 bros in play and/or Crown of Thorns activated.
