I started a FREE league on ESPN that has 12 openings now for people that would like play! If you want to join send me a pm containing your email and I will get the link to the league sent out to you. We are on a first come first served basis so post here that you sent a pm and list some preferences for draft dates. Hopefully we can find a time that everyone can be present.

Division number depends on how you want to set up the schedule. If you just want to round-robin it, then 0 divisions is perfect. That results in only 11 games, though (on the plus side, room for more playoffs!!!). 3 Divisions makes it easier to add more regular season games while keeping a balanced schedule (each division opponent twice, then each other team once gets you 14 games), plus the divisions would actually mean something (3 division winners plus a wildcard for playoffs).
I'll play regardless of any division distinction, though (sending PM). My only preference is that the schedule is balanced.

I learned early on in my fantasy football career to think with my head, not my heart. My first year of fantasy, I sat Doug Martin vs. the Vikings, and he netted me 35 pts on my bench. The next year, when we were forced to start Christian Ponder at Lambeau, I immediately picked up the Packers defense, who took full advantage and netted me around 24 pts.

Would the weekend before the first week of regular season games be too late for the draft (Season starts September 7th). Tentatively I was thinking the first Friday, Saturday, or Sunday in September?

I will be out of town for most of that weekend, so much availability is pretty limited. But if nothing else, I'll try to set up an auto draft lineup, so don't worry about me.

How about this Sunday afternoon? Does that work for everyone? If that is too short notice for some people then we'll plan on drafting Sept 3rd.
PS: I still need an email address from Prof A and Josiah and Mitch to join (maybe the invitation email did not go through?
PSS: There are 4 spots open assuming prof A, Josiah, and Mitch are in. Hopefully we can get at least 2 more?

Just got my team name set. However it seems that pictures of Roger Goodell at the draft mispronouncing Mariota's name are blocked from being added as profile pics...so I'll have to get creative.

It sounds like everyone is able to attend the draft this Sunday, so I will set the draft to begin at 3 pm EST Sunday, August 27th. The draft order will be a randomized order to begin with that "snakes", with 90 second per pick. Also since we have only 10 people I am removing divisions, well trying, I can only seem to be able to add divisions in the team and division settings.

You have to set everyone out of the division you're trying to delete. We ran into this in one of my other leagues the other week. Once all the teams are in one division, you can delete the other.

So our draft is in an hour and 18 minutes. Just a friendly reminder!
Also should we post our teams in a single thread and let people vote on who they think will win the league? Just for fun of course.

Nathan is here a way to make our playoffs only a single week because if we do 2 weeks then half the championship is week 17 and that always gets ugly.

Thanks I was too lucky in fantasy football this year. Made it to championship game in 3 out of 4 leagues I was in and won 2 leagues. I barely made the playoffs in two of those leagues.
