SI during massive band

Angel attacks.  Delilah bands to Kings of the Earth who bands to Fallen angel who then bands to Spirit of Fear.

The only abilities that matter are Spirit of Fear (withdraw all heroes).  The Crowds LS is in play so they can’t discard to instead.

So the question is can they play 5th bowl of wrath (negate and discard an evil character) on Delilah during SI since negating her ability would kick Spirit of Fear, or do he HAVE to negate SoF because of SI?

The interrupt/negate played during SI has to directly target the removing ability, so you have to negate SoF.

Ok that was my ruling.  But if someone played a card like Reach of Desperation that interrupts the battle, they could then negate and discard Delilah causing a cascade negate right?

Thanks Marcus!  Just good to have proof for my playgroup member!  😛
