Title: Protect in territory and Coliseum

I just want to confirm that if I have Golden Altar active or Moses’ Parents in territory and Coliseum is in play would my Martyr or Exodus/Cloud hero still be protected from the first evil enh my opponent plays? GA and MP are in territory and Coliseum says “negate all protect abilities in the field of battle.” I would assume Coliseum is only trying to prevent protect abilities from activating on cards that entered battle, but doesn’t affect cards that are in territory that are protecting cards in battle.

If the card with the protect ability isn’t in battle then Coliseum won’t negate it. The protection can extend to cards in battle.
