What does Release mean exactly? does it kick them into territory and then band to them?

Also, can I use this card to band in demons from my territory?

Sorry, I should have known better:

Interrupt Kingdoms of the World. Release up to X demons from an evil Fortress and band them into battle.

Release sends the demons from the Fortress to your territory, then bands into battle the demons that you targeted and brought out.

Addendum. Sends the Demons from the Fortress to their owner's territory, then bands them into battle.

I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!
