How to negate second to last negate if last SA is CBN?

Hi there,

just run into this situation: After setting up a banding chain where 2nd to last card played is Abigal (RoA) who banded to David (CoW) while David's Harp is active.
After SAs of Abigal and David have been carried out opponent plays 3Woes and negates Abigal.

Now how is this to be handled? Since David's look and underdeck is CBN. But beforehand 2 cards have been drawn by SA of Abigal already?

Or should 3Woes have been played directly after Abigal was banded?

Thank you for a short explanation.

Bye

Woes would negate Abigail's full ability.  If David was drawn from her ability (or not), he goes back to where he came from (top of deck if drawn; hand or territory if he wasn't drawn).  David's ability is CBN so everything he did remains as-is.

Thank you - this is also what I thought. But then negate cannot establish the correct situation as it have been before since:
  • Cards have been drawn due to Abigal
  • Afterwards cards have been underdecked due to David
Since Abigal is negated and drawn cards go back on top of deck SA of David would have looked at and underdecked different cards. But w/o Abigal David's SA never would have been activated ... Dilemma.

Or is there no Dilemma?

No dilemma. In this case one doesn’t have to do with the other so long as David wasn’t part of the draw. Even if he was part of the draw or not he still gets kicked out of battle. Whatever Abigail did gets undone; whatever David did remains.

...he still gets kicked out of battle.
That he's kicked out is obvious.

Whatever Abigail did gets undone; whatever David did remains.
But then sequence of deck and cards drawn/seen/underdecked gets corrupted by reverting through negate

Whatever she drew gets topdecked in the same order it was drawn. Whatever David did remains. The latter cards he underdecked don’t get touched. She simply just puts back what was drawn even if the order of cards is different.
