The ability is "Discard one human Evil Character (or two if there are at least 6 humans in play)." I believe that this means only human evil characters, but I wanted to ask and make sure.

5 human heroes + 2 evil humans = 7 humans, meaning you can discard both evil characters.

No sir. Lambo is correct. Humans doesn't specify evil or good.
