Title: Elisha Q
Post by: Master Q on November 25, 2018, 03:37:00 PM
Elisha:

"You may discard an evil Enhancement from opponent’s deck. You may reveal a hand: Shuffle evil Dominants. If you shuffle at least 1, your green Enhancements cannot be negated."

Elisha reveals and shuffles an evil Dom from the opponent's hand, making his green Enhancements CBN. But, what if the opponent negates him? Say, with Abaddon. They get their evil doms back, all that. Would Elisha's CBN GE stick or would GE be negatable now? I would say it would lose the CBN but I've never encountered a case where something gaining CBN could lose its CBN status once gained.

Cards are CBX or not when played or not at all, so Enhancements he had already used would be CBN.

If Elisha is negated, I think any further Enhancements he used would not be CBN, kind of like getting Peter, John or Philip the Evangelist in play after Simon the Magician blocks.

But anything that grants cbx is CBN. So if the granting of CBN has already happened it should stay active.

I agree with Mr. Aggie.

But anything that grants cbx is CBN. So if the granting of CBN has already happened it should stay active.

Since the granting of CBN is based on a condition that can be negated you can create a situation where the condition is no longer met. It’s not quite the same as negating the grant of CBN. We’ve seen cards like that all the way back to Balaam’s Disobedience (which has also raised questions).  :)

Balaam's Disobedience is always CBN, it's just that it doesn't grant Protection while an angel is in battle.
