Banding Question

If I am being attacked by a human hero and to block I band red dragon (5/6) to my fallen angel, how does red dragon's immunity effect the overall battle?  For example if the hero is doing 14 damage to my 14 defense, 14 being the sum of my red dragon and fallen angel's defense, does fallen angel die and red dragon live?

Fallen Angel  sa: "May band with any non-human Evil Character"

Red Dragon  sa: "Character is immune to all Human Heroes unless Hero uses Blood of the
                            Lamb"

Yes, but no Lost Soul is rescued because the Hero couldn't get past Red Dragon.

just to note, though, Fallen Angel is banding to Red Dragon, not the other way around. :)

Not if the hero can overtake both defensive numbers when added together.  (Which was stated in the example.)  Fallen Angel dies in that scenario.
