Hi again,

topic says it all. Here I am not sure how the consecutive (de-)activation influences LSs.
For LSs already in play they are negated as long as CoW Moses resides in territory and is not negated himself.
But what if he then enters Battle? Are the LSs still negated then? Here I am struggling with the wording of the Prevent description in REG regarding the pending reactivation abilities. So I am not sure whether LSs are still negated or not when Moses moves into battle?

Any clarification is highly welcome.

Yes, but it was ruled in 2016 at nationals that if an opponent has a potentially active Punisher and your Moses enters battle the souls check first so Moses would be negated by Punisher.

-I have no idea how anyone would know or verify this besides witnessing that ruling- which was announced to everyone before t1 began

Because it's the logical interpretation of how the rules work. When Moses leaves territory to enter battle he is no longer active as a territory character so punisher is now active before he activates as a character in battle and he gets prevented.

Oh of course why wouldn't anyone just know that so far to the point they had to announce it before t1 began for anyone to?

While it's logical, that doesn't mean it's completely obvious. Moses introduced a completely new concept (TC negating) so it was best to make sure everyone understood how it worked.

Have you checked the REG?
Have you looked it up in ORCID?

Ok, to make things more clear for me regarding my situation:

If the only LS of opponent in play is "Female only" it is negated as long as Moses stays in territory. But when he attempts to rescue it then it becomes active again and when Moses arrives field of battle he would not be able to rescue it. This would be my understanding of how he works as well as how the ruling in this thread is described.

Is this correct.

Negative. He still negates souls, characters and enhs in territory while he’s in battle. When he enters battle his negate ability reactivates and negates the aforementioned in territory but he additionally negates characters and enhs in battle.

I had the same confusion a couple of years ago, so you’re not the only one. :)

To clarify, the reason that everyone's talking about Moses being negated is the Punisher soul. If Moses is in play and negating souls when it hits the table, then it's prevented. However, since Moses has to reactivate when he enters battle, that gives Punisher enough time to kick in and negate him. Moses still negates souls in battle, but not if Punisher negates him first.
ANB is good. Change my mind.
