1) How does Hamachi work? I found the DL page, but how do you get on a network?

2) How do you find an opponent?

3) Is there any way to play a single-player game with two decks, so you can play yourself to check out a deck concept?

1) You download it, and create an account for your computer, at the bottom left theres a button that will let you join a network if you know its name and password.

2) Hamachi will highlight people who are online in green, you can send them messages and ask them if they want to play.

3) No, you can only play a single-player game with one deck.
