I looked at a thread about this a few pages into this category, and some people mentioned that they knew who was working on it. Who is?

Mike, care to limit how much information I'm allowed to divulge? Raven - The intent of the RTS2 is to allow interfacing for 3 or more players, I'm not sure if Mike is programming in rules for teams, I believe he mentioned he was.

What I'm about to share was available openly to anyone who was at Nationals.

There is no such thing as RTS2.  There will be a new option to play Redemption online that will blow RTS away.  It's far more than a "table simulator" so to call it RTS2 would be completely inaccurate.  I believe the working name is Redemption Live.

It's a ways from being finished and Mike is working on it in his "free time" so don't expect to see it in a finished version real soon.  I'm hopeful that we might see it next year but there are a lot of factors that play into that so we'll see.

Redemption Live will be able to support every format that's played with paper cards.  That includes multi-player, teams, type NW, etc.  It will also be web based so you can use it on any OS.

Mike had a demo version available at Nationals and it looked really cool.  I think everyone will be impressed.

For now you will because people adapt slowly to change.  There will come a day when some people won't even know what you're talking about when you say RTS.

I could always unsticky it when Redemption Live or w/e it's going to be called comes out, and replace it with installation links and instructions for that.

One thing I gotta ask about, since I've had more than enough headaches thanks to it... How easily will this new program update with new cards? I am fine with the way RTS deals with it, but I've spent countless hours trying to help other people get them installed. Troubleshooting over the internet is a lot harder than it sounds.... >.<

You wont need to update it with the new cards yourself, once they are released it will be updated.

So it'll check for updates every time you fire it up, and if it finds one, it'll download and install? That is music to my ears.

idk about everyone else, but as soon as this comes out, Hamachi will be GONE.  If I didn't love Redemption so much, I would hurl a rock through Hamachi's corporate office window.

IDK על כולם, אבל ברגע זה יוצא, Hamachi ייעלם. אם אני לא אוהב כל כך הרבה גאולה, הייתי להשליך אבן דרך החלון במשרד Hamachi של החברה.

I don't think the iPhone will be supported unfortunately because it does not support Silverlight, which Redemption Live is written in.
