With completion of the auto-update feature and the inclusion of the cards from the Early Church (Phase 2), I am pleased to announce that the Redemption Plugin for Lackey CCG is feature complete and officially out of beta.

Below are details on how to install/update the plugin. I believe these instructions will also work on the iPad version of Lackey CCG, but lacking an iPad I am unable to verify this.

Installing Lackey CCG and the Redemption Plugin

Download the Lackey CCG application from the Lackey CCG Download page
Install the Lackey CCG application following the directions provided in the Lackey CCG Installation tutorial
Launch Lackey CCG
Install the Redemption Plugin from http://www.redemptionquick.com/lackey/updatelist.txt

A description of how to install plugins (in general) can be found in the Lackey CCG Installation tutorial listed above. I also have a screenshot (below) that provides a simplified four-step process for installing the Redemption plugin.

Updating the Redemption Plugin
For those of you who already have Lackey CCG and the Redemption plugin installed, upgrading the plugin follows exactly the same process as installing it. You can simply skip steps 1 and 2 provided above, and start at step 3.

Note that Lackey CCG updates will load images on demand (if necessary) and will only download items if they have changed.

I copied a bad file which messed up the handling of Early Church Phase 2 cards that had the same name as cards in previous sets (e.g., Angry Mob). This is fixed.

Update the plugin once again and you should be golden.

MJB,

I've found a couple cards that don't seem to have the images loading properly.

The hand discard Lost Soul (from the G/H starter deck) and the Anti-Ignore Lost Soul from RoA.

I'll let you know if I discover others.

Thanks. I will look into it. On the bright side, with the new updater you won;t have to downlaod 170 MB to fix two cards.

Went through the artifacts, dominants and evil enhancements and found a couple more:

Son of God (B deck version) shows the picture for Priestly Crown

Goliath's Spear (Main Limited) shows the image for Herodias

Vain Philosophy (Main Unlimited) shows the image for Missionary Ship

I'll update this list as I find more.

Has anyone tried the iPad version of Lackey for iOS? I'm curious how it works to play Redemption on there. Is it worth spending the $5.99 for the app?

@Gabe, I just got it. It's not as easy to use as a computer but it definitely cool. I havnt connected with anyone yet, Jerome and I are going to try when he is available in a couple hours and I'll let you know how that goes.

According to the LackeyCCG site it works for Windows, Mac, Linux, and iOS. So Windows tablets are a slight possibility, but Android (google) tablets are a no-go.

Couple of notes:
1. For those looking for family-friendly play, be sure to turn off "Enable game chat sounds" under Preferences. While there is no actual language, at least one phrase begins a word we'd disallow, and the trigger strings are not obvious.
2. While deck-building can be clunky, I actually am a fan. The only thing I'd like as a T2 player is another identifier for Good, Evil, and Neutral cards for ease of counting and verifying decks. Not necessary though, the only real thought that came for an improvement.

Would you be please send me the chat sound that is the issue? I have just passed along the default sounds that came with the game, but I can modify those.

Unfortunately, I am not sure the deck builder in Lackey can be customized. I'll look into it. It may require writing a separate deck building app.

Side Note, I have played 3 2p and 2 Multi player type 1 games on the iPad without any major issue. After a couple games i got used to the mechanics and would say i wasn't slower then anyone using a computer.

A COUPLE NOTES
-Lackey does kick you from room if you close out of it on an iPad. Once this happens you are dependent on the other players to leave that room before you can get back on the server or you must perform a name change in preferences.
-I lost a deck i had built and saved. I am not sure yet if i did something wrong or if i lost it after closing out of lackey on the iPad.
-when people make notes or use the take control of character function large block letters take up a large portion of the screen.
-Navigating the deck builder and game play mechanics is a little more difficult but using the "left-click, right-click, middle-click" function on the iPad is very useful.

You can use custom cards in Lackey. I was helping one of the playtesters test a card on there a few weeks back.

So I have attempted to do everything the first post says to do to get this working. I have also screen shared with two different people and they said I did everything correctly. But every time I go to load the plug in it times out immediately. Is this something other people have struggled with?

I decided to try to download this on my old laptop and it downloaded just fine. So what on my new laptop might be causing it to not download the plug in?

This sounds like either an anti-virus or a permissioning issue. Steps to try:

1) Disable any anti-virus you have running. Try to do a download.
2) Start Lackey as an administrator (right-click on the LackeyCCG.exe file and select the "Run as administrator" option). Try to do a download.

There should be a log at the bottom of the plugin screen. You can copy what gets printed there and paste it into a post if it seems useful.

You can also bring up a browser and go to http://redemptionquick.com/lackey/updatelist.txt and let me know if that works.

This is weird. I now can always update my plugin from http://www.redemptionquick.com/lackey/updatelist.txt due to checksum mismatch. Maybe it is due to the circumstance I might have the setimages changed some day back in the past (added another image by myself)? I can now repeatedly start the download without doing sth. else inbetween and it downloads everytime again.

Ok, sry. Cannot upload images ATM to my FTP account (don't have another one available for uploading them).

Seems to be a Lackey glitch. If I make the left area smaller so that the card preview field is much smaller than the card size you mentioned some cards stay in these small dimensions when hovering over them while overs pop up in their normal size covering quite some area on small resolution screens.

I figured out that this seems only the case for the top 2 to 4 cards from the All Cards list but not for others. If I hover over the exact same cards when they are scrolled a little bit down they will also pop up in their original size (or it is related to the card dimensions you mentioned measured from top of the preview area).

Hi everybody,

and a Happy and blessed New Year to all of you!

We're pleased to release an updated Redemption Plugin for LackeyCCG. Big thanks and big shoutout to EmJayBee83 for packaging this bundle and doing all this great work!

Major improvements are:
- Unmeekify option by double clicking a meekified card (or do this with any card you want to turn upside down and back again)
- Column added for Legality with Values of "Rotation", "Banned" and just being empty for all legal classic cards
- Column added for Alignments of cards helping T2 deck building having "Good", "Evil" and "Neutral" as values according to the individual card
- Lots of adjustments and corrections done that have been listed in the Lackey Edit thread

Please note: Due to some of the cards still might being suffering from some faulty descriptions, identifiers etc. chances are that there are still some errors in alignments and legality.

Just update your Redemption plugin within LackeyCCG.

Please add all your new findings regarding issues, missing cards etc. in this thread. We'll try to cleanup there what has been fixed meanwhile (striking out according posts).
