If u still have bold text (and multiple copies of some cards in the card list) then u prolly still have some expansions added. Take those off and you should just have one of each card in regular font on the card list.

RoA RTS Files and Installation. Picture Guide included. *new links*

Ok... I was hoping I wouldn't have to do this but... I've been getting so many questions about how to install this expansion that... I finally gave up and decided to make the following Picture Guide for you all who have problems with this.

So, here we go!

***STEP 1***

Download the following two files to your desktop (it doesnt make a difference, but it helps for the guide):

cards.txt
RoA_Pics.zip

When you do so, make sure you download them like this:

***STEP 2***

Once Downloaded, your two files MUST, I repeat MUST look like this:

If they look like Internet Explorer links... something went wrong. Contact me on AIM and I can send you the files.

***STEP 3***

Next,  Find your RTS folder. If you used any sort of an installer originally, then follow the following steps.

1. Open My Computer:
2. Go to C Drive:

3. Go to Program Files:

4. Go to RTS:

***STEP 4***

Now... let me introduce you to the RTS Folder:

Next to the #1 is the Cards.txt file you will be backing up and replacing.
Next to the #2 is the Pics folder where you will be copying the images.

***STEP 5***

Ok now we will be backing up the old Cards file. This is incase something goes wrong and you need to roll back to your old version. To do this, First create a new folder:

Then, Name it whatever you want, and drag the cards file into it:

***STEP 6***

Now, simply copy the Cards File on your desktop into the RTS folder:

***STEP 7***

Next, we will be installing the image files. To do this, first, open up the .zip folder on your desktop, shown next to the folder in this picture:

Now, select all the images by hitting [Ctrl] + [A], and then copy then with [Ctrl] + [C].

Go back into the RTS folder, and open up the Pics folder I told you about earlier:

Copy the images into this folder.

***Step 8***

From here, you should be good to go! Happy RTS'ing!

I downloaded the pics and it won't even open or allow me to unzip.

I put the cards download into my RTS folder as well.  Now I have no cards in the deck builder.

I suggest not right-clicking/saving as. Click on the link, as it brings you to another page from which to download the files. I had the same problem at first.

Well, you should be able to open the .zip then.

Try right clicking it and see if an "Extract All" option is there.

I got it to work by Tim's method.  However, the card information link doesn't give me the download option.  It just opens the webpage with the list.

What I will do is... once Phil gets back online, I'll ask him if he can host the two files needed.

Lambo:  Look at your links and see if the URLs have a "?attredirects=0" string at the end.  If so, delete it.  That should allow direct downloads.

Anyone else have a problem with the Rabsaris and the Rabsaris attacks switching card art?

Also, add Windows of Narrow Light. Even if we don't have an image.

Probably what we need to do before that is get some missing cards in there, like Split Altar and other new promos.  Also, I'd like to clean it up (the file, that is) and get rid of unnecessary cards.  For instance, we really only need one generic lost soul card.  It's important everyone get the same version so if Gil can host it with the entire RTS package then that would the ideal way to go.

Thought??

Yeah, my 2nd thought was, once all the promos are added, I will have someone host a complete .zip file of the RTS folder, and they can just download it and replace their old folder (after copying all their decks out)

Okay, I'll work on it today.  I noticed there were some other things to be edited in the file, too.  (Anyone look at the SA for The Name of the Lord?!  :D )

I'll add the promos that we know about.  (Pictures of them would be very much appreciated from whomever has them.   :prayer: )
Then I can send it to Phil (mixed him up with Gil last post.   :D )

Sound copesthetic?

Sounds good. Until then, this guide works for those who just GOTTA get their hands on RoA. ;)

When the new version is 100% finished, I'll make another guide like this... I have a feeling I'll get at least one person asking how to do it.  :D

and LOL at Name of the Lord.

Please keep the Exodus reference version of Angel of the Lord along with the others if you didn't. Stone Pillar at Bethel is the reason for that.

so, did you try ALL of the following?

1) right clicking and clicking Save As on the link posted here.
2) clicking the link posted here, which leads you to the google site and:
    (a) right clicking and clicking Save As on the link there.
    (b) clicking on it.

If none of these STILL work... but if you do 2(b) and it just displays a bunch of random text... you can do this:

Select all the text being displayed and copy it.
Go to the desktop and make a new text file.
name it Cards
paste all that text into it.

that SHOULD work.  if not... just message me @ Lambodiablov on AIM
