I saw a user review of Windows 8 on a youtube video (I won't post a link here, as the reviewer, while he seems to know plenty about OSs, also seems to enjoy using obscenities). In any case, it seems like it's awful, to the point that I don't think I would buy a new PC unless I can ensure that it can have Windows 7.
I'm not techie enough to know how to fix it, but hopefully someone will.
