Hamachi barely uses ANY memory / processing power. I think your safe using it.

i always seem to have problems with hamachi...

for some reason, it always interferes with my regular network connection, which then doesnt let me connect to the internet. im not saying theres a problem with hamachi, since apparantly it works for everyone else, but it just seems to always disable my network connection...can anyone troubleshoot this?

Have you tried Hamachi support?  They're probably the best equiped to troubleshoot problems you're having with it.
