ok, I haven't played rts online since Hamaci. I'm trying to get on with a friend who isn't on the fourms that I'm trying to get more interested in the game. We both have the rts program running but don't know how to connect. Pls Help!!

when you are both in a room that is not the global room, the start game button should be active.  click it, then follow the directions that pop up.  I believe both of you have to choose 'connect to host' in RTS, then input aws.redemptionconnect.com in the IP box and port 1337.  Make sure to keep your browser open to the Connect lobby.

we are sitting in the same room so we know its not working quite right. When we tried the above we both got a message saying waiting for opponent to connect.

I'm gonna pop into your room and see if either of you can connect with me since I know my end's been working.

EDIT

So there IS a two person limit on rooms...will need one of you to step out to do what I suggested above.

looks like I've got the same problem trying to connect to you.  on RC, I can see that you're in RTS and so am I, but my RTS hasn't picked you up.  I'm assuming you've got the same type of thing going on.

Question - can you see my messages in the lobby?

EDIT:  I've gotta go play my ROOT game now.  I would suggest both of you trying a different browser (I know I have issues w/ Firefox, so I need to use IE).  After I'm done with my game, if y'all are still on I can try and help some more.

I tried to play a game over the RTS for the first time today. My friend and I experienced a similar problem. Even though we were in the same room and were both connected to redemptionconnect when we began the game, we could not see eachother.
