Philip the Evangelist not a martyr?
« on: March 08, 2018, 09:13:28 AM »
Hello All,

I just noticed that Philip the Evangelist (EC & Ap) are not listed in the REG as martyrs.
However, Philip (Ap & Di) are listed as martyrs.
So, was this just an oversight? Are all Philips martyrs?

Thank you,
ELM

They are two different men named Phil. One was a martyr one was not.
Have you visited the Land of Redemption today?

Very cool.

Here is good explanation (I trust this website).

https://www.gotquestions.org/Philip-in-the-Bible.html

(By the way, there were actually 4 Philips in the entire Bible).

I did not know this, thank you!
