Steven K. (whitengold7 here on the Message Boards) holds tournaments in Clermont, which is roughly an hour from you. Just take Route 98 to Route 50, then south on 27.

Any open tournaments that I hold will be in Lake Wales, which is further away. You could take 98 all the way through Lakeland, then take 17 into Winter Haven. I live on the southern edge of Winter Haven.

I thought there was a group starting closer to Tampa (Brandon, I think), but I haven't heard from them lately.

Do you have ccg lackey? There's a tread on here with directions how to download it. My brother lives in south FL and that's how we play kinda of regularly living long distance from each other.

turtlegamer81,

I'm trying to plan a Florida State tournament on Saturday May 21 in Clermont.  I'm planning to put the application in this week.

Welcome back.  Do you have a deck? We'd love to have you join the playgroups.  Please let me know if you have any questions or if there is anything that I can do to help.

Steven

Hi Turtlegamer,

I host Redemption North Florida playgroup, which is located in Gainesville, FL.  Steven in Clermont (Whiteandgold7) will be a better bet for you to join a playgroup since you're closer to him.  If you're ever up this way or would like to play sometime via Skype, message me and we'll work out the details.

Thanks,

Derek

So you'll be close to Derek, watchman? He's hosting a district in a few weeks.

I live in Winter Haven, which is less than an hour from Tampa. However, I no longer host tournaments, so if he wanted to come out this way, we can try to set up a game night.

How do I find out more about the tournament?

Hey Jeremy,

I'm hosting the district tournament coming up in a couple of weeks (the one turtlegamer (Josh)) cited. We'd love to have you attend if you can! Do you live in Florida? What city do you live in? Please feel free to message me if you have any questions.

Hope to see you there!

Derek

Hey Coknight,

If your son is willing to come to Gainesville and has transportation I would love to play a few games with him. Also, I'm hosting a district tourney on Dec. 17 and we would love to have him attend. Feel free to give him my phone number (352-494-6949) so we can connect.

Thanks,

Derek

Hey Jon,

Turtlegamer is Josh from the tournaments. And Spring Hill is actually south of Inverness so about 2 hours SW of Gainesville.
