Multiple questions for returning rookie

iamteuton:
Hi everyone. A few questions:
1. Holy of holes states "prevent interrupt, prevent and negate on all character cards". I have a Micheal who's text states that " Micheal and any enhancements used on him cannot be interrupted, prevented nor negated. If HoH was on the field first, does it prevent Micheal from activating his effects?
2. If I attack with Uriah and he becomes poisoned, can I play steadfastness of Peter and heal him?
3. If I run out of cards in my draw pile, do I lose by forfeit?

Bobbert:
Welcome back!

1. No. Holy of Holies prevents other abilities that prevent, interrupt, or negate (cards like Moses, or Benaiah), which Michael does not (he makes it so enhancements that he plays can't be negated).

2. I believe so, but as an older card without a play-as/errata (that I see) I'll let a judge answer that.

3. No. There is no exhaustion mechanic - the only penalty for decking out is running out of steam.

Kevinthedude:
1. Michael's text is actually a modifier rather than an ability. Text that grants "Cannot be interrupted/prevented/negated" is always a modifier and cannot be targeted by a negate since negate only targets abilities.

2. Steadfastness of Peter does not have a heal ability, so no. Ignoring poison is not the same as healing.

3. There is no penalty in Redemption for decking out.

3. Then while I'm at it, how do sites work? I understand that lost souls go into them and only certain brigades can rescue them and that I can use evil characters to guard them but that's all I really remember. If I recall correctly, I can put any evil character inside that site to block and cards like "fortify" and "lying in wait" allow me to add a second character without the need for a banding card.
4. If I had "marharia" and "hannah" in play, wanted to make a rescue attempt and intended on using both characters, who would I lead with to activate Marharia's banding ability?

3. Let's say you have the gold site egypt. you put a lost soul in there, and now only a gold hero, like moses would be bale to rescue that soul. Alternatively, you could have a card that has the site access ability allow rescue that soul with a non gold character.
as for the guards thing, there are a couple older cards that allow you to do put an EC on a site and then add it to battle when you get attacked at that site, but no new cards like that have been printed in a while.

this is not correct, although it sounds fun and I kind of wish it was a game rule. Only the cards you mentioned before like lying in wait allow you to that.

4. Yes. A band or add to battle ability must activate before you add another character to battle.
