While I'd love to see the Armor of God I think that since we've already seen part of that theme I would rather see something else. Since we've also seen a couple churches I'd vote for Diviners (if it's an evil theme, since we've seen mostly good previews so far) or James/Jude.

Oh...you think that was even most of it?  ;)

However many more of them there are, I'd still like to see other themes as well. I won't complain for any spoilers, but I'd rather see bits of multiple themes than lots from the same theme. :P

Diviners or Armor of God. Diviners because it would be nice to see some more evil. Armor of God because I want to work on a new deck in my mind for when the new set comes out.

Thaddeus is my favorite disciple, so I vote James and Jude.

So far it seems that armor of God will be next week's theme.

Part of me thinks that they will be clay/x like the Fruits of the Spirit were and then the other part says they will keep their multicolor. I also think some of the Ephesians church characters or maybe letter to the Ephesians artifact will help make them cbn/i/p.

Are you saying that as in Thaddeus the Disciple = Jude?  They are not considered the same person in Redemption at this time.  Jude called Thaddeus is one of The Twelve; this character is represented by the Thaddeus card.  Jude, as referenced in Jude 1, is the Jude brother of Jesus (and brother of James, who was leader in Jerusalem), and is represented by the Jude card.

Thanks, everyone, for your feedback. One of our authors is well on his way to having a series ready for you on the AoG (which we may or may not have reprinted  ::)). After that we will do a theme week on diviners followed by James and Jude.

**EDIT**

Please take special notice that in conjunction with Monday's preview article, there will be a one day contest sponsored in part by our author and Three Lions Games. While I'm not directly involved, I'm told it's for 10 packs of Persecuted Church to be given when the set is officially released!

That's pretty much what I was fishing for. I figured it'd come down on that side of the debate. Somewhat disappointing from a combo perspective, and a bit surprising considering John the Revelator=John the Apostle, but probably the safest bet.

Will the answers be posted here after the contest submission deadline is over? I'm anxious to see if I got anything right (knowing me I bombed it  ;))

Double features on LoR Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, plus a special Saturday edition.

I usually forget a lot about a set between the time we finish testing and when the cards are released. Some cards go through enough changes that I find that I get them confused with "old versions" I tested even months after they go live.  ::)

It's "mini-theme" week at Land of Redemption! This week we will look at multiple mini-themes in the Persecuted Church set, such as James the Just, Jude, Evil Kings and Magicians.

Next week there will be previews for both the Ephesus and Colossae churches.

And that will end our previews of the new set!

8) 8) 8) The Monday before Nationals, July 27th, we will be posting a full set list along with a multi-part podcast featuring a full set booster draft primer given by three of the play testers!!! 8) 8) 8)

Do you plan on drafting at Nationals? You won't want to miss this! Can't go to Nationals? Live vicariously through Land of Redemption!

Will the podcast (or a post on the site) mention what the other 11 cards in a Persecuted Church pack consist of?

Will the podcast (or a post on the site) mention what the other 11 cards in a Persecuted Church pack consist of?

Here's the info you're looking for.

Quote from: CactusRob
10 random cards pulled from (unlimited, prophets, apostles, patriarchs, kings, angel wars, priests)
11th card will be a random Warriors or Women card

Also note that it should take about 55 packs to get a complete set of PC. That will net you about 2 full sets of commons and some duplicate rares.

Gabe, JD is planning on setting a camera up to broadcast some live footage I believe. Not sure if it'll be through Periscope or what. But at least we'll have that, which is pretty cool.

Some sort of general ideas of which types of decks are being successful in the different categories would be cool. Also a breakdown of interesting ruling situations that are bound to come up.
