There was a guy who was banned from tournaments back around the 2002-03 era. At one point, he reached out to Rob and requested to be reinstated but I don't think that ever happened, and as far as I know he's still banned.

I can second remembering that one person was, before my time as well. IIRC he tried to play for keeps - i.e., loser burns their deck - and threw a fit when his opponent didn't go through with it. I also seem to remember something about throwing carrot sticks at nuns...?

I dunno. Bringing it up makes his legacy live on, so I'm not going to dignify it with a search.

I believe the carrot thing was an ongoing joke...but the deck thing did happen. Although he was quite rebellious for a time, he did mature and rejoin the Redemption community (he has an account here on the forum but hasn't been around since 2010). He ended up joining the military and serving overseas so certainly thankful for his service.

He was unbanned.... I played him at a NC regionals a few years ago haha he had this combo deck for type 2 and really handed it to me... I really liked him! He was a marine! ooohraa
